Dynarex Sterile Nitrile Surgical Gloves, 6 Mil., Size 6, 1 Box of 50 Pairs

In spite of picture showing a green glove I was fairly certain the written description said white.

I need sterile gloves when I change my ankle ulcer dressings daily. These smell like a chemical, but the real problem is that they are difficult to size; they tend to run too small. I bought my first box & got size 9 which were huge. My hand measures 6 inches across, side to side, with closed fingers & thumb to the side of the palm. My second box was a size 7. They are too small. I can barely get them on, & I break sterility trying to don them properly. It is truly trial & error getting an accurate size. I have not experienced tearing or cuts & they are sturdy & strong.

I have just started to use these gloves which I ordered in December 2024. It is now January 2025 so they have not aged. The 7.5 size gloves are the tightest on my hands that I have experienced. I have been doing surgery for 38 years. These are adhered to the paper they are provided in with a very firm attachment, like they have been put into place with a several hundred pound press. It is difficult to get them free of the paper. I have resorted to crumbling the unopened gloves in their package, repeatedly, before opening, and that has helped. But the gloves are adhered to themselves as well, And sometimes when trying to put the second glove on the fingers are flopping around while I’m trying to struggle to open the cuff. This can result in the fingers flapping back and hitting ones hand. This is rather unacceptable. If I smoosh them around more, it seems that they open easier, but it should not be this much of a struggle. Once they are on, I frequently have to spend some time, pushing them down on my fingers because they are so tight and they have loose floppy ends at the end of my fingers. On the plus side, they are rather tough, so I can pull on the cuffs rather hard while putting them on to facilitate getting into them all of the way. I have not torn one yet, but I’ll admit to only probably putting on about eight of these pairs since I started using them. If I order these again, it will be in size 8. Update: I have now put these on every Friday night for 4-5 cases of vasectomies. It has not gotten any easier. Will not re-order.

I needed these gloves because I am a 3rd year in vet school. I am honestly really disappointed in them. I have put on the Dynarex latex gloves before to get sized but I am allergic to latex and had to get the nitrile type. Honestly these are horrible. They are super difficult to get on in comparison because they stick to themselves really badly and BREAK ALL THE TIME. I can only get half of the gloves on without them breaking when I am putting them on. They are a little smaller than the latex dynarex I tried on to get fitted. I am not sweaty and ensure that I dry my hands enough after scrubbing and honestly they are a waste of money cause I just have to rescrub again when they break.

These gloves are well packaged and of good quality.

Would have given 5 stars if the gloves actually fitted

Fist application I ripped through the glove. Would recommend buying a larger size than you think you'll need and be prepared for low durability.

My surgeon decided she’d rather face her latex allergy than wear these gloves. They are extremely difficult to put on and easily rip. Do not buy.
