Osprey Hydraulics Cleaning Kit Trinksystem Zubehör

I growled when I realised I wouldn't be able to clean the osprey bladder properly without shelling out for this. I'd been using a wooden spoon to hold the bladder open, but cleaning the tubes was too difficult. Why it can't come as standard with the bladder seems sharp practice to me. Shame on Osprey. However, it does the job, although it requires a fair bit of dismantling of the bladder's component parts (and my hard-working hands are not strong enough to unscrew the mouthpiece on the bladder). The coathanger affair for keeping it open is unwieldy and always a bit of a struggle to put in and take out; basically you need to overlap the two sections until it's well inside the bladder. But if you don't mind shelling out much more than seems necessary, it is useful.

The two brushes are fine but the “ladder” broke on the first use. So overall the brushes have turned out to be an expensive £20!

The scrubber and the pipe clearer are great but the plastic drying rack is really flimsy and broke just getting it out the bag still does the job but for the money it’s not great

It’s an essential for cleaning an osprey hydraulics pack properly but it’s a bit pricey, especially considering you have to buy a mouth piece cover separate aswell
