nice product that works as it's intended. I saw other ppl stating it's much cheaper that the big name brands. I have noticed though that this product can use 3x's as much. I play with the amounts I use, to make sure I don't use more than necessary. my old product stated no more than 1/2 teaspoon at a time. this states up to 3 ounces at a time.. big difference for my 300 gal spa. but.. it works really well. I'll see if it's still a bargain, after I use it for a bit more.

This works well, but I prefer to use it with a sprayer, which is not included, when the water starts foaming. Keep in mind that if your water is foaming, there is some reason for it. Sometimes when you put the filters in a cleaner solution, if you do not rinse them completely, any residual soap will foam up the water. I rinse my filters every month and clean them with filter clean products at least every 6 months. The wrong chemicals can also cause foaming. If and when any that happens and you don't immediately want to clean and rinse your filters and/or drain your spa, this will get you by until you do.

If you have your water in balance as far as pH, hardness, and alkalinity your filter is clean; and you are still having foaming issues, this product is the bomb. It works pretty much instantly. Understand that if you have significant residual contaminants in your water, this product will make them fall out/flocculate. You need to be prepared to clean your filter after applying this, but also be prepared to manually skim your water for "clumps" of contaminants that this product will force out of your water. I love it. It's the best defoamer that I've found. I'm a repeat customer.

We had recently changed the water in our hot tub and within a couple of weeks the foam was out of control. Our regular defoamer struggled so I thought I’d try this. We have never had this problem before. Our hot tub is well maintained and we keep the chemicals where recommended. We used as directed and poof the foam was gone. It left slime. Lots of slime. We wiped the sides and skimmed the slim quite a few times from the surface. We also rinsed our filter a couple of times. We finally realized it was coagulating the gunk, oils, etc. Our son slathers himself with body lotion that would be the gunk. He rarely uses the hot tub so it was easy for us to connect the two. So far so good. 😁

I have used leisure time foam down since I bought my hot tub, but I thought I would try this product. This stuff works great. The difference between this and leisure time is this lasts for days and weeks. I was constantly having to renew leisure time to keep foaming at a minimum. In this bottle I get twice as much product as the other and it works and lasts. I kept my old leisure time bottle and refill it from this bottle because it is a better dispenser than trying to pour accurately from the neck of this bottle. Highly recommended.

It does the job, temporarily removing the foam, but it does not last as long as I want it to. I have to use a lot of it at once and then the next time in the tub the foam is back needing more. The bottle is gone before I know it. I just need something to remove the foam, even if I have to put it in every time I use it but not requiring a lot of liquid..

It purchased this a month or two ago and have used it twice and both times it totally eliminated the foam. Great Product.
