Worked, but uh, ew.
Batteries and charger seem to work great, just needed them to test a camcorder for resale. But what in the world was all over the outside of the package? It was ONLY on the package and the singular piece of cardboard (probably for extra protection of some sort?), and not on the actual inside of the shipping box. It was oily, almost like thin lotion, and smelled strange, and I immediately worried something happened to the batteries and it was battery acid or something. But nope, just, uh… Mystery substance? With a little bit of dirt/dust in it? Pretty gross. I don’t know if I even want to know what it was.
