Fantastic Product, Not For Children
The finished build looks amazing: plenty of colour with several pieces, some very small, and a HUGE amount of stickers make this REAL GRADE a very detailed model which looks the part on a display shelf. It's certainly not a toy! You'll need a sharp craft knife, tweezers, nippers, nail files and a lot of patience. Some stickers are so small...and placing them correctly will test your patience, as well as giving you the occasional 'light-headedness'! I found part of the mechanism that's used to open the wings not as sturdy, when trying to open them some parts tend to come loose so care is required when trying certain poses but this should not affect your overall judgement as, once finished, this is going to go on a shelf or inside a display cabinet. I quite like the inner frame as well, the articulations allow for great posability as well as being very solid. Shoulders, ankles, torso, hips...they all move, as well as having 180 degrees rotation on knees and elbows, better than some MG. Overall the robot is about 5 inches tall from feet to head, plus another couple of inches depending on how high you decide to go when you spread the wings and these's also two spare pair of hands (one which articulates), and a mini pilot to paint, if you dare! Great overall, highly recommended!

Beautiful Kit
Having previously picked up the RG Strike Freedom I thought I would pick up its predecessor. Needless to say I'm very happy with my decision. In my opinion its a better kit that the Strike due to being a little more structurally sound. The level of detail on a kit this size is simply stunning and one of its biggest selling points. To anyone considering between High Grade and Master Grade versions of this kit may I present the solution. Smaller than a master grade yet retaining almost the same stunning level of detail and a nice price point that sits only fractionally higher than some high grades. A word of warning however. These kits are fragile and pressure on just the wrong point could ruin the kit for you. While not as much as an issue on this particular model this is a warning that should be applied to all of the Real Grades

Great model for a first timer
I'm not a Gundam expert but I've been assembling a couple of HG models and thought of challenging myself with RG. The product arrived earlier than I expected, I anticipated it to arrive after Christmas since I ordered them a couple of weeks before. The instructions are easily understood (I just followed based on the label and the diagram). The product was indeed challenging, but not hard to assemble. It has inner frame (unlike the HG models I own) which allows to make more poses, that is cool. It is my first time with RG so I experienced a lot of parts popped out when trying to assemble all them together. It was not as smooth as my experience with HG models and it take more time. Maybe because I'm a first timer. But they give a lot of spare parts and stickers which I like (in case I lose it). And I notice the model is more detailed in terms of its features and more colors. I would definitely get another RG models from this seller next time. Overall, I am happy with it.

but saw this and thought it was perfect for my desk toy collection
Not really a big fan of Gundam, but saw this and thought it was perfect for my desk toy collection! It's very detailed. I was originally going to paint it up, but when i saw the level of detail putting it together, i figured that the paint wasn't really needed for the amount of detail i had in mind, the model itself does that very well. The decals are also stickers, no water needed which i found was really handy, I remember using decals when i was young and they could be a real pain to apply. One thing though, careful when you're cutting the inner skeleton parts off the sprue. Some are connected via actual connecting points used to attach the pieces together and I accidentally cut off a bit. Fixed it with some glue though. Would highly recommend even to a non Gundam fan.

Excellent model
Bought this as my first Gundam model because it looked really cool and was very glad I did. Not too difficult to assemble and it was fun to do and a little therapeutic. Impressive how all the parts are so intricate and how they well designed everything is. The range of motion in finished model is good. Instructions were not in English which wasn't a major problem as you can figure most things out from the diagrams. I did find an English translation online which it is worth googling to find for some key instructions.

My first gunpla ever. Very challenging but satisfying as well. Fully recommended. Only problem is with floppy wings. I had to be very gentle to put my gunpla in proper posture, figure is quite fragile, definitely not to be used as toy

Great Model Kit
Only just started building it but it's so freaking detailed it just blows my mind how anyone could come up with the pieces that put it all together. An incredible bit of engineering on the part of Bandai and so so so worth the price. Any fan of Gundam should be picking these up.

Super fast delivery and a fantastic build.
First attempt at a real grade and it was a joy, loads of small pieces, no glue or paint required. Arrived in a couple of weeks from order.

Bandai's 1/144 RG Freedom Gundam is an excellent kit. It's definitely one of the better and more impressive looking Real Grades I have assembled. Like all RG kits, it possesses an incredible level of detail, more so than the HG and MG, while maintaining a level of articulation that rivals Master Grade. With the wing binders fully deployed and mounted in an action base, this kit has presence. There a couple spots of looseness; the smaller blue wing parts can get loose over time and not stay in place, and the arms can loosen resulting in drooping gun poses. The beam saber blades that it comes with it are rather large as they are the 1/100 scale blades that normally come with Master Grades and when used do end up looking a bit ridiculously long, especially with the combined saber. Getting it into HiMAT mode is not difficult, but posing the upper cannons is tricky as they contact the head's v-fin often. Still it is doable. It comes with the beam rifle, shield, two beam sabers and blades, pair of RG hands, a pair of closed fists, trigger hand for rifle and an open left hand(supposedly to grab the RG Justice Gundam's hand). I would HIGHLY recommend getting an action base as this a very back heavy kit and it only looks natural up in the air.

Excellent kit of the Freedom Gundam, lots of very small parts though so be careful.

Doesnt take long to build. But after building you might lose the wrist manipulator. Also the peg in the beam rifle breaks very easily. Otherwise great looking gundam.
