This chair is fantastic! I’m 6’4 and hefty at that and this chair is still very comfortable to sit in. I haven’t been able to use it too much but I do have several hours in this chair around a campfire and while trout fishing and it works great! It can be assembled in around 2 minutes and packed up in around the same time. The chair is also light weight coming in at around 1lb 10oz. The chair doesn’t feel flimsy but it isn’t anything fantastic. I would say this is a great buy considering the weight and price.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this chair, especially given the price! The chair is more sturdy than I’d ever expect for this price- it’s extremely stable front to back. Side to side is a little questionable, and I’m curious how it’ll do once I’m out backpacking on less stable ground. That said, for the price, even if I don’t continue to use for backpacking, I think it’s worth trying it. I do wish the back sat you up just a little bit more, but it’s still comfortable. Weight wise, it’s actually more like 1 lb 10oz with the carrying pouch. But you could leave the pouch (it’s actually more space than needed) and save 2 oz. That said, for this price, the weight is incredible. The original Helinox is heavier and double this price, and the ultralight is 8oz lighter but $100 more. No other brands on Amazon or other places come close to this price or weight. I do question if some broader shouldered ppl would find the back comfortable- I don’t have any quarrels, but I could see the two corners potentially digging in. It was extremely easy to put together- I didn’t have to look at any of the paperwork and it took less than a minute. Overall, very happy with this purchase thus far. Will update once I finish my backpacking trip in regards to stability.

Super light and comfortable! It feels more like a mini recliner rather than a camp chair. I bought it as an alternative to the Helinox chair zero. The material is a little stiff so packing it up is a little tricky, but for a fraction of the price, I’d say it’s worth it. It’s a little hard to fit back in its case. The frame folds up nicely, though.

It is on the small size but it definitely weighs less than 1.5 lbs probably closer to 1.3-1.4 lbs. for the price you can’t beat not beat this chair. I would be a little weary of the size of you’re a bigger person though. Great for having a chair deep into the back country.

1lb 12oz in my scale, with a few campfire holes in it. I got this early last season and it’s probably spent at least 30 nights outside, I probably took it on a little more than half of my trips. My kid likes it a lot, so it’s been well worth it in that regard, but on trips without him I can say sometimes I regretted taking the extra weight. Sometimes it was well worth it, sometimes take it or leave it. Pros - Frame and material are pretty sturdy, I’ve put it through a lot. It’s pretty comfortable. It’s just like any serviceable enough car camp chair and even better for kids. Big sturdy fixed feet It can be really nice to have a chair Cons - It’s finicky to set up, not hard just finicky. The back comes up to the upper middle, just low enough to where you can only relax so much. The feet can sink in on wet ground. Sometimes it’s dumb to take a chair The case is almost 2 ounces and annoying so I ditched that and wrap it in some shock cord. The sinking issue can be solved sometimes by putting water bottle caps on the feet. The biggest value is that it did help me decide to drop another hundred bucks on a high quality lighter chair now that I really know how I feel about a camp chair. If you already know you want one it might be wise to start with the high end one, but if you’re not sure, 40 bucks is not bad for a spare chair. This is definitely the lightest chair I have found with a back in the price range. I probably would’ve rated it higher if they were honest in their description. In the end, I would rather support the companies that this product is copying.

Great lightweight chair! It's super light making it easy to take along on a hike, and it has a small strap at the top and bottom of carrying bag, making it easy to attach a (not included) shoulder strap. I can also fit it inside of a hiking pack very easily. I set a stopwatch to time set up and take down time (without rushing). It took me 1 minute and 9 seconds to set it up and 2 minutes 29 seconds to take down and put away. I weight about 150 lbs and it feels really sturdy for me, I imagine it would stop being comfortable for anyone over 200 lbs.

Sturdy and comfortable!! Weighs in over a pound, so not ULTRA light.... But more comfortable with a higher back than my expensive name brand less than one pound UL chair.

The chair assembles very easy and it very light. Chair weights 1lb 10 ounces with the cover. Very comfortable to sit in and get out of. At less than a 1/3 of cost of some name brand ultra light chairs, I am giving this chair a try. Packs up small, very light weight, acceptable quality materials. Will be using it for some camping trips in the next few months. Will update the review once tested on the field.

Plastic connection parts at the legs. The photo shows metal mortise and tenon joints. I’ll give it a shot.
