I bought this skirt for ‘pub golf’ with the girls. The materials appears to be good quality, the skirt is thick and holds the pleats well but the shorts are soft and stretchy. The shorts underneath are very short so don’t really cover much. All in all the skirt is quite short, i’m only 5ft and it feels quite short on the back. I typically wear a size UK12/14, i took advice from other reviews and ordered a size up, the waist band is a little baggy on my but I don’t think the size below would’ve fit my hips/bum, so if you’re petite and curvy like me i’d definitely recommend sizing 1 up from your largest normal size

I bought these in "silverstripe" and "purplely". The purple one is great. Decent length on the thigh and fits as expected. The silver one is cut much shorter than the purple and also runs a little tighter, so sadly I won't be wearing the silver beyond IG pics!The built in shorts are nothing like I expected in either pair; they're advertised to appear as an actual pair of shorts but they're basically a pair of knickers / hot pants. There's no way actual shorts that come down the thigh could be applied to the grey one with how short the skirt is - it only just covers the bum!

Bought for a charity walk , good fit, lightweight, washes well

I am in-between a size 12-14 depending if I've eaten bread (lol). So I ordered a size 14 after reading the other reviews that said to size up. Do not do this. I have had to send the 14 back and order a size 12. The size 14 was very spacious, and would probably be ok if you don't like your clothes to fit fittedly or only a size 12 on a good day. But I did not like that it kind of gaped at the back, and didn't really want to have to pin it to wear it. My body type is all bottom and thighs with a little waist, so definitely go by the waist measurement if you are the same and the pleats will accommodate the thicc. The size 12 however fits really well and is really flattering, I was concerned the shorts might be too small but they fit well. So I would really recommend measuring yourself and just trusting the size guide.Also, yes this skirt is short. It is a tennis style skirt, it is supposed to be like this. And I don't mind it as I like my skirts as short as legally possible anyway. The shorts aren't very long- they just cover my knickers so they don't give that much protection if you were to bend over other than the privilege of showing some black material rather than whatever pants you are wearing.The material not much to comment on. The black skirt just feels like the same material school skirts are made of - not cotton.

This skirt looks really nice on. The fabric is decent quality, colour came out nice and is wonderful to twirl in.The shorts are nice to have, and you can’t see nude/white colour pants through them (my skin is white btw so don’t know if this will ring true for darker skin).The shorts fabric is very thin and feels like nothing on - covers enough to give some modesty in Marilyn Monroe moments but nowhere near enough to exercise in.All in all - really nice skirt for the price, would just say that the zip fits really snug and can catch on your skin if you’re not careful.

the fabric is really nice on the skirt and even the shorts inside are soft and a nice fabric. i wish they said more clearly that there were built in shorts coz i didnt notice it in the description and i bought separate shorts to wear under lol but its ok, was a good surprise! the shorts are not sheer for the black skirt.i am normally a 00 (22in waist) and the 0 fit me almost perfectly so take that as you will.
