Whitmor MDF, Wood, Steel Wall Mounted Drying Rack for Storage, White

This looks and feels like a hand-made product, but in the good way! It doesn't have that cheaply-made, mass-produced feel to it. It was as described, and installed fairly easily on the wall of our laundry room. It functions well for drying small items and looks great when folded up (or even open). Very pleased!

I like the sturdiness and looks of this product & it was easy to install. I’m taking off a star because of the metal rod that is used to hold the rack in the open position. It is a flimsy rod and will come off the hooks. It’s also a little awkward due to the rod to close the unit back.

I love the size of the drying rack. I hung it upside down because it made more sense. This way clothes hung higher instead of almost on the ground. I had to drill new holes, ones that actually hit studs. The initial holes were just filled in with regular screws so that it looked more complete. So far it is working out well.

We bought one and it was great until it fell off the wall due to the cheap anchors it comes with. I’ve ordered two more since then and both were broken in the same spot upon arrival and had to be sent back. IF you can get one that’s not broken AND you use good anchors (actually best to screw into stud) then you’ll love it.

I mounted this to the wall and made sure it was secured to studs because it’s sturdy and weighs quite a bit. The I noticed it had no latch to hold it closed other than a small magnet. I ordered a latch anyway. I also planned on adding a strap so it couldn’t open beyond 90 degrees and break the hinges. The next afternoon the front of the rack fell open and broke the hinges crashing to the floor. The back was solidly mounted to the wall.

This works so great! I use it every day and it is made very well. I have had this for about 2 years now so I have put it to work! The only thing I would suggest when installing it would be to put it up higher so that when it folds down it is not at your level. My husband installed it at eye level and I have to duck under it all the time to do laundry. Its a great buy and it looks really nice!

Good quality. Space saving which was my biggest need. Fully assembled. There was a nice template for install tho much to my husband's dismay, I took the suggestion of another reviewer and hung it upside down. I like it better, but took more drilling and such. We did screw on the top and bottom so it didn't come off the wall mounted this way. I also jazzed it up with a little wallpaper like another reviewer. Overall great!

Item came with a template for hanging so no guess work on measuring the distance between the holes in the back for hanging (thank you!) Looks great in our laundry room and will be putting it to good use.

I love this product. It's not too big and bit of extra space to hang non tumble dryer items in my laundry. It did arrive with a bit of a paint scuff/scratch so not perfect but didn't want to return as there were none left according to the site. It doesn't bother me now. Good for a small space, if I had a larger laundry I would want something bigger.

This is really poor quality and not worth the money. It broke into two pieces while mounting it.

The look is perfect but the material quality is medium for the paid price. I like the space saver quality of it…. *Update after a few months, one of the hinge broke. We were able to replace by one purchased in store. Still like it!
