Purchased this for the barn. Installed this in the barn and the solar panel outside. Luckily, I can get a good cell signal as there is no Wi-Fi in the area. Getting it set up took some time, rereading directions and one chat with customer service. Once I had the app installed and the camera hung up, we were off! Great picture quality, microphone does pick up sound, but I haven’t figured out how to adjust the volume. Light pops on if movement is detected. Playback is not seamless, it jumps from one image to the next, rather than one long video. I purchased a larger SIM card which needed to be formatted before use. Don’t worry, the app takes care of it for you! A monthly fee ($15.99) is charged for access to cellular data. Definitely gives me peace of mind and well worth the price.

The camera has a good picture. The complete downside is that there was an issue with the camera being off line. The first time I called customer service they said you will have to reset the camera. I said I'm 2,400 miles from home is there anything you can do I asked they said no. I tried to explain that I wouldn't be home for 2 months. I asked how am I supposed to protect my home and they said nothing. So I finally get home and call customer service. I get a female with a very thick accent and her voice is muffled on top of that and I am hearing impaired! When I kept asking her to repeat herself she sounded very agitated. She finally hung up on me. I tried numerous times to call back and no one picked up the call. I wasn't ugly to her at all. I would never buy one of these cameras again and unfortunately I'm stuck with 2 of them. Do not recommend!

Pretty easy to set up. Mounted onto a tree adjacent to my home and coverage range (field of view) is quite adequate. It has been up for about 3 days (at the time of this post) and seems to give me good coverage, and picture/video quality. Check the cell data coverage in your area before implementation to make sure you get a solid signal. Solar panel seems to charge well without direct sunlight (it is in a wooded/shady area).

The activation process is horrible, ordered 6 cameras, was barely able to connect 1! The image quality is great once you get it connected but if it takes hours and hours then it’s not worth it.

We have a total of 3 cameras from ANRAN and we couldn’t be happier with the product. From the clarity of the camera and the night vision is unbelievable. We have already had 1 intruder scared away from our property since we have installed ANRAN cameras. My wife loves the camera on our other rental properties because I am getting older and she worries that when I am mowing and doing yard work she can see me moving about and not been hurt or have fallen. All in all, we are so happy with ANRAN cameras and they deserve 5 STARS!

I could never get this camera to connect to a network. I confirmed the sim card was installed correctly and tried multiple times to connect. It would never get past the blinking red light. The instructions just say if the red light is blinking it is trying to connect. Be patient. Well, it would never connect. I attempted to contact customer service for help and got no response at all. Crickets. So, back it went as return. Very disappointing as I have other Anran cameras connected to wifi and I wanted to be able to manage all cameras through the same app.

Can’t get it to automatically record alerts. Also having a problem with the audio when I am not at my land.
