Granted it is not an actual 3d lamp although it is advertised as one. I still think the lamp is awesome. It not worth more than $10 as it is an off off off off market brand. It comes in three pieces: the base, the etched Mario head, and a USB cord. It also takes 3 AA batteries - not included. The button on the base is not really a button it is a touch button, in order to change colors you have to lightly tap it, and to turn it off; you have to hold your finger on the "button". It's a great gift for any Mario fan!

If you are or have been considering this purchase as I did a while this review us for you. A big part of the reason I didn't order sooner was a lot of people complained about the size but I assure you the size is a good one especially considering this is a nightlight. I think many people confuse this as supposing to be the size of a lamp because it stands on surfaces alone and isn't plugged into a wall like typical night lights. The quality of everything is great you can change the colors of it with the touch sensitive button on the front side or set it to change colors on its own. It's definitely for decoration and entertainment purposes only it does not give off enough light to be able to see anything in a dark room. I love it and am definitely ordering other items of this type again

I gave this to my son as a gift and he loves it. It has several light settings and it is totally adorable as well. The only thing I would change is that there is no On/Off button. You have to disconnect the USB when you want to turn it off. But overall, it's worth it.

There’s nothing wrong with it, just don’t really like that you can’t get the wooden part off of the back so it isn’t clear to see through, or atleast I can’t figure out how to. Bright color, you can either plug it in or use batteries. You just tap the power button to change color; and hold it down to turn it on/off. Good gift, just hate the wood on the back.

Was really cool for the price, didnt work exactly like I thought but was still cool. Just needed a night light for my 6 yr old.. Disappointed about 2 weeks after we got it the A/C plug broke (female end on base) so we have to use batteries now.

My son just turned 8 this past Sunday. He is all about gaming and one of his favorite characters is Mario. We ordered this cool light from his brother and sister to give him and were pleasantly surprised how cool it was. The only complaint I have is that you need a charging block or USB port to plug it in. Luckily, I had an extra block from an old phone. It changes colors, is easy to install and user friendly. Great gift for the person who loves Mario. I have the dinosaur one for my other son on my list for his birthday in a few months, I may switch it to Mario!

Looks just as pictured. Lights up pretty bright and my kids loved it. I’m laughing at the reviewers that didn’t peel the paper from the back and posted pictures. It was pretty obvious that you remove it from the glass. I wanted to give a real review.

Nice bright light for my son! He loves Mario and the games, so this was a perfect gift. He likes watching the colors slow shift or picking a color each night for bedtime. Good nightlight and great gift.
