Damaged box. The pump did not work. The water jet went up 5cm up and no more. I returned it.

We use the pump to remove that difficult to shift residual water from the hot tub when cleaning it out, maybe 50/60 litres which is just lower than the height of the tub’s floor drain plug.Using one of the 3 nozzles supplied with the pump we connect the pump to a pipe which came with the hot tub to top up the air. The water is drained from the floor of the hot tub, up the pipe and over the edge of the tub and away. (It runs off into a bottle gulley on the patio and back into the mains water system btw).The mains cable on the pump is long enough to suspend the plug outside the tub, and the pump itself is heavy enough to sit flat on the bed of the tub unsupported. Perfect.There are holes for mounting screws on the base of the pump, and in the accessories bag 4x little suction-cup rubber feet as another mounting option.The pump doesn’t make much sound at all, and shifts water at a very respectable rate for its size. Very pleased.
