Kids Safety
It will not sharpen unless it's a very dull pencil. You have to twist left (opposite) and push down for it to start to work. It will stop sharpening when the pencil is sharpened enough.

Save your money
It looks adorable, perfect for my 5 year old. Didnโt work right out of the box. I tried it with batteries and tried charging it. It made a sound at first like it was going to work but it wasnโt strong enough to actually sharpen. Then it stopped doing anything all together in a matter of second and never came close to working again after that. I just went to target and bought something less cute looking but actually works. Total bummer and waste of money with this product.

The cutest gift
My 6 yr old daughter asked fir a pencil sharpener for Xmas. She draws and colors all the time so I seen this one which is scoop cute an it comes with stickers and the cutest little erasers a tiny notepad and extra blades.... she loves it. Also you can plug it in or use batteries which is awesome.. but it spins when it sharpens so it's kinda hard to hold it in there an some pencils it don't sharpen other then that it's a great product.. the pencils that work in it sharpen great but I'm not sure yet if I should keep it or return it .

Pretty bad
This is a very poor quality product, it does not have the power to sharpen a pencil. Is cute but bad. Don't waste your time buying this.
