Love these eggs, they are so easy for toddlers to play with

The item description doesn't adequately explain how this is educational, so here goes. Each chick has a shape imprinted on the bottom, as seen in my photos. There are 6 unique shapes, so your toddler will have to learn how to look at the bottom and match it to the egg crate; otherwise, the chicks won't go into the egg crate. Also, it's really cool how they can mix and match colors - the tops have a face and color and can be matched to the bottom piece which has a face and color as well. Not sure why the review asks about teething, but I suppose a teething child could chew on these safely (the item page says they're non-toxic); however, they are too large for most teething kids to fit these into their mouth...which is actually a great safety feature as there is less choking hazard.There are two egg crates as well which really has helped my niece and nephew learn how to share and communicate more nicely. They love swapping their pieces so they can have a specific color chick for their egg crate, then they have to learn whether or not that piece has an open spot. They love these things, especially my nephew who has memorized the shapes just by what color the chick is - so like I wrote, this is a ton of fun while being great educational activity for toddlers.Likes:* The price is affordable at less than $20 for hours and hours of entertainment and learning.* Everything else in my review except what follows in dislike.Dislikes:* Wish there were more unique shapes in the second crate. Still 5 stars!

My kids love these toys. They love the sound that the egg toys make. They love the shapes on the bottom of the eggs and the cartons. I love that this product comes with so many eggs as well. They shared the toys really nicely.

Watching my niece figure out which egg goes where (in her opinion, of course) is priceless. It's not just a toy; it's a mini lesson in sorting and matching. The quality is solid, but the only downside is that the eggs can be a bit tricky to open for tinier hands. The insides of the eggs are squeaky, which is tolerably annoying. Overall, a cute and educational addition to the toddler toy arsenal.

We had a similar style egg crate toy for our oldest child when they were little, and we decided to get these because of the variety of faces and inside animals. Love that you get the chicks as well as other animals. Overall these are well made and seem like they will hold up to lots of play. Great deal and fun toy.

My almost 2 year old loves these, they have him completely occupied and they're so fun! You get 2 six packs of eggs which I love because you can easily fit one in your diaper bag on the go. In our case it works out well because we can keep a set at the babysitters house and a set at home. Some of the facial expressions are really kooky but I like that. One pack has bears, mice and dogs in the eggs and the other one has all chicks. These are great for working on colors and shapes and matching for older toddlers. The bottoms of each egg fit into the pre-molded shapes in the cartons, both cartons have the same shapes so you can mix and match the animals if you want. Another really fun thing about these is that if you press on the animal, it springs down into the egg and pops back up. Some of them are a little squeaky but that's the only downside. These are definitely a hit though, my toddler approves!

My baby absolutely loves these! They’re so adorable and come with the little cartons to store the eggs in.
