Subscribe or return
Item like other anyone, a simple camera with stand and app. But worse the Cubo AI because you must subscribe to their plans which you never need. They offer first 6 months free and no option to reject subscription, and you MUST enter your credit card data otherwise, camera will never work. I simply disconnected it immediately, retuned it to Amazon and found another brand. Now, two brands are blacklisted in our big family.Camera overpricing and manufacturer is to greedy to get standard price X 3 in addition to subscription for nothing but watching your private rooms and getting credit card info and keep it somewhere.

Unneeded mandatory subscription and overpriced
We bought this camera and my husband returned it in about an hour after installation. It doesn't work without a mandatory subscription to an unknown service they are "providing", otherwise you can't use it.We though, very expensive camera means, very good quality and support - and the result is camera as the one for quarter of the price without any additional monthly expenses.Lucky, we get rid of it and Amazon returned it to seller without any questions

Pricey - additional plans are really expensive so make sure you know what comes as standard
The more expensive baby monitors and the extra plan is expensive for the extras. I purchased the more expensive plan because I am impulsive and not aware of what does/doesn't come as standard.A really good monitor for us though. The birdseye angle is a dream. We were able to change the height and angle so it was perfect. Clear image every time with no doubts of what's happening. I also got some of the breathing monitoring swaddles (not sure if this monitoring is standard) which has done wonders for our piece of mind.It gives us monthly ish videos showing us how much the baby has grown. It also gives age-related tips which have genuinely been helpful Everything is controlled through the phone which wasn't a problem for us, It has a 'background audio' mode which means the sound from the camera is being played on your phone in live time so if there is any crying etc you can hear it instantly without constantly checking your phone and having screen time. We end up turning this on in the evening time when watching TV so we can have one ear upstairs knowing what is happening. Notifications come pretty much straight away - no lag for us. Can also give family/friends visitor permissions so they can view only the camera. We were never interested in this though. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have some more buttons on the camera which we use often e.g to turn the camera and white noise on and off. Currently, all controlled through the phone.Definitely on the more expensive side but a really good product and recommended. If you're not bothered by the extra features and you want to do the basics then this would probably be overkill. But it has been unreal for us and we have loved it

Keeps Bricking Itself.
The nanit was okay while we had it. I’d say it’s a bit over hyped and is a glorified baby camera. Unfortunately it bricked itself after 6 months, then again once they replaced it. Pretty huge waste of money as my babies live longer than 6 months at a time.

Incredible features and portability, but a few app and connection quirks to note
As a first-time mum with a 4-month-old, I genuinely love this monitor, but at this price point, there are a few important pros and cons that any parent should consider before buying. The Pros:- Amazing Portability: We use both the floor stand (in her nursery for daytime nap practice) and the travel stand (in our bedroom for nighttime). Swapping the camera unit between the two stands is incredibly fast and effortless.- Peace of Mind: The video quality is sharp and the sound is clear. Because it connects to an app, I can check on my baby sleeping from my phone even when I’m out of the house, which is amazing for reassurance.- Great Extras: The built-in white noise and nature sounds are a lifesaver when you can’t find your dedicated sound machine. It also logs precious video clips of you picking up your baby when they wake up, which are beautiful memories to look back on.-Easy Setup: Physical assembly of the floor stand was a breeze. I thought I'd need my husband's help, but I easily managed it on my own, and setting up the app was just as straightforward. The Cons & Quirks:-App Limitations: You cannot hear the background audio if your phone screen is locked. There is a picture-in-picture pop-out mode so you can use other apps while watching the baby, but your phone must remain unlocked, and the pop-out window forces the camera to zoom all the way out, making it harder to see details. (It does have a dimmed "night mode" for your bedside table, which will be useful when she moves to her own room).- Wi-Fi & Lag: Because it relies entirely on Wi-Fi, you lose the monitor if your internet goes down. There is also a minor lag of a few seconds, which becomes significantly more noticeable if you open the monitor on a laptop browser rather than a phone (I've literally walked back from checking her crib and seen myself on the laptop screen!).- The Subscription: Be aware that the free trial for the premium sleep insights and video history is quite short (around 6 months), after which you have to pay a fairly pricey annual subscription to keep those features.Ultimately, the Nanit Pro is a premium, highly accessible, and portable system that makes baby tracking very easy. It’s a fantastic piece of kit, but the app restrictions and ongoing costs mean it falls just short of a perfect 5 stars for me.
