I like the intricate detailing and the smaller size for our purpose. We recently lost a family member, and this will hold a portion or their ashes, to be given to his young daughter. The rest will be spread in the places he loved. I'm not sure how I feel about the door being on the bottom, I'm guessing we will use a small bag to seal his ashes before we put them inside. I recommend this urn in instances like this, or for cremated pets. Not large enough for complete adult ashes.

A little disappointed as I thought it would be bigger and a bit better quality for display

I lost my oldest sister a couple years ago. She loved butterflies. This urn is nicely made of real wood and engraved with a beautiful saying along with several butterflies. This would be perfect to give out to family members.

I have always wanted to build my own coffin and keep it in my workshop, but I never got around to it. I buried my father recently and during that process decided on cremation for myself, after he passed. I thought it would be a nice reminder to me that life is short and live it to the fullest if I had the urn where I could see it daily.I was initially disappointed when I realized that I actually ordered a “pet-sized” remains urn - not the full size adult urn I’d been looking for. As time passed though, it kind of grew on me. There’s no point in having a larger urn sitting around after I’m gone. I’m going to leave instructions in my will to put some of my cremains in this urn and have the rest scattered on my favorite fishing lake in Canada.This is a pretty neat little carved urn. I like it. I just hope I don’t need it for years.

Got this urn for one of my dogs. Lovely design on it, and well made/crafted. Very secure when closed, so that’s a comfort as well.
