Yarn is perfect.

The yarn is difficult to use in crocheting because it is hard to see the stitches also dark yarn is inherently hard to see the stitches. There is nothing wrong with this yarn it is just harder to use because it's fluffy and dark. It works up beautifully, but is a more difficult yarn. I use a neck light to shine directly where I'm crocheting snd that helps
