Dog Training Leash Slip Lead for Medium Large Dogs Black 4 FT

I've bought 2 of these so far, and I'm very impressed with the durability, quality, and ease of use. We use ours daily and one of the leashes is a couple of years old and still seems like brand new. I wouldn't use this leash for general walking because it doesn't loosen up, but that's the point. It's great for a quick slip-on leash for taking the dogs outside for a bio break, or when we're traveling to ensure the dogs don't slip out of their collars. It's definitely NOT a "no-pull" leash, and care should be taken to make sure the dog doesn't damage their trachea when pulling.

Our Cavapoo is 10lbs and We had a really hard time walking her with a Harness until we researched and found out about Slip Leash. Incredible, we just received it today and what a difference!!! We were actually able to walk her around the block with her following us perfectly. The clip is spring led which is amazing we didn’t want a leather one & it secures around her neck/ears snuggly without issues. I highly recommend this slip leash!! We got a 6ft one and its more than enough length for her to walk & Train in. Will be purchasing again in the future if we ever need to replace it.

I use it as a figure 8 over the nose and snug the toggle behind their heads and it resolved my pulling problems. They learn they can release pressure on their muzzle by not pulling, voila! Better than the prong collar, AND the ecollar. Since we’re loose leash walking now, I’ll order the 7 ft as well. My only concern is it breaking. I cannot tell how well put together/reliable it is and I almost want to take it apart and reinforce it just in case. I can’t have my 80 pound reactive dog getting away because of failing equipment. If I do take it apart, I’ll update my review.

I love that this leash includes a round piece for securing the slip so it doesn’t become too tight on my dog’s neck. I feel like other slip leads I’ve purchased to use with my Golden Retriever poke her in the neck (rectangle in shape). So, the round shape works well for my concerns. The size, the fabric and color are great. I’d like to see some new colors please: some shades in pink for my girlwould be perfect.

This leash works well. The stopper is quick and easy to move, unlike those on my leather leash. It keeps the slip close behind the dog's ears in the correct position for training without damaging the trachea. It's a bit thicker than I'd like but the length is just right for walking in public.

Shines in the dark with a tiny bit of light Easy on easy off. Great for controlling a strong dog. I have a wild child GSP German Shorthair Pointer , that is ALL muscles and highly motivated Buy it you will NOT be disappointed

A little thicker than I was expecting which might make it durable, but makes it hard to use as a gentle leader over the bridge of the nose.

Use this on my GSD. Excellent piece of kit. Certainly helped with hus pulling

I really like the plastic spring part that holds the loop around the head, better than other slip leads that tend to loosen. This wouldn’t be good for small breeds but excellent for medium to large dogs. I have XL mastiffs but they’re well trained (don’t pull) so it still works. I’ll probably buy another one

Do not order the lead is not as advertised, very harsh material not suitable to go around dogs skin, feels like sandpaper (no exaggeration) also does not come with spring stopper as advertised and just has generic leather “friction” stopper . Awful awful material

Works well for training my dog on a slip lead.

The rope is impregnated with a chemical perfume of some sort, similar to scented beads laundry stuff. That scent is impossible to stand. Left it a few days to vent out, but without much success. Other than that, it’s a good training leash. With our allergies, we had to return it. Just too bad.
