Keeps me cool!
Got this because our unit broke and it gets the job done! It's kept our room cool and auto turns off if it's chilly outside. It's a bit noisy when it does turn back on but you get used to it. Only down side is that if you do have the dehumidifier on and you live in a pretty humid place, make sure to get a large enough bucket for the hose to drain and check it every so often so it doesn't overflow. On less humid days, it's not so bad and it doesn't accumulate much water.

This little baby makes it good and cold.
I love everything about this but 1. It's quite, energy efficient and offers 2 speeds and really puts out the cold air. The remote control is easy to use and the temperature controls make sure that you can set it and forget it. It's really quiet and looks amazing in any room you put in. The only thing that I don't like is the exhaust hose is made of a thin plastic that really gives off the heat. Upgrading to an insulated exhaust hose has made me love it even more and it fits the exhaust hose kit that comes with the air conditioner perfectly using a layer of HVAC tape eliminates any leaks and make it even quieter. I noticed some of the reviews mentioned water overflow and having to use a milk crate to set it on and use a bucket underneath the drain plug to catch it with. Here's what I discovered it only happens when you use the dehumidifier setting in really muggy rooms for long periods of time and the resovor fills up and runs over. It comes with a drain to hose and sitting it up off the floor and running the hose into a small gallon size bucket will keep everything going smooth as long as you keep the bucket emptied out regularly. I was able to avoid all that because I never needed to use anything but the fan and the air conditioner settings. If you are looking for a nice air conditioner that is built to give you years and years and years of high quality service and not leave you sweating to the oldies..this is the best one I've found. I highly recommend this to anyone who is tired of being hot 🔥🥵.

So far so good!
I purchased the 10k BTU unit to try and cool my small house(650 square feet) for the summer season here in Pennsylvania. The window adapter fit perfectly and it was super easy to vent out my window. I like that the cord has its own safety features, as I run the unit when no one is in the house. It's a relatively small design and I think the quality is decent overall. The buttons can be a little difficult to navigate but the remote works like a charm. A couple negatives that I have: - there is a slight chemical odor when using the unit. Nothing terrible but definitely noticable. - I would highly recommend using the drainage hose, as my unit drips about 2-3 gallons of water during the course of the day. PA is very humid in the summer, so that may be the cause. - as advertised, the unit should cool approximately 400 - 450 square feet. I'm using it to cool about 350 square feet and it does struggle to cool the space quickly. During the heat of the day (90°+), the unit pretty much runs constantly to maintain 79°. - the thermostat on the unit seems to be about 3°-5° off from other thermostats in the same room. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, it does keep the house dry...it cools a little bit faster during the evening hours... it pushes cold air (55°-59°F) out consistently... nice remote features... I would recommend using in a larger single room. Like a small office, medium sized bedroom or living room. But I wouldn't recommend using it to cool multiple rooms at once, as I may have to get another unit next summer season. Hope this helps.

God send after 7 years of dreading this expense!
I REALLY did not want to purchase this. I’ve got extra tall windows, and an apartment that’s supposedly too close to the ocean to need air conditioning. First world problems.. recently unemployed. Hottest summer in Los Angeles in a million years.. I did it. No turning back. This unit saved our lives. Not nearly as intimidating to setup as expected. Pros: gets cold! As it should, but I see other reviews that mention that, like they’re surprised when it does. Window kit was easy enough to measure and buy on Amazon separately. Installing window kit was easy breezy cover girl. Did need an extra person to help spot me although I want to say I did most of the setup myself. Easy on the electric bill. Cons: it’s louder than expected, not super loud but thankfully I sleep with ear plugs so that works out. If you don’t, I imagine it could be an issue. The hose to the window is not very long, which was almost an issue. Overall, this is a summer game changer. Glad I finally did this with Afterpay, in 4 payments.

Feeble & Frustrating
This unit struggled to keep up with a mild summer in the Pacific Northwest, barely keeping my 450 square foot apartment below 79 degrees F even at night. It was also a pain to have to set up a drainage bucket for the unit, especially at this price point. I replaced it for $80 more than I spent here with a well known brand, the same BTU capacity, and features which mean I no longer need to keep a bucket in my apartment. Spend the extra money to get a better unit, this one is not worth the trouble unless you're just cooling a shed or some other space you aren't actually living in.

Works great would buy again
So pleased with this. It works very well. I live in a 3bd mobile home. Our central air went out 3 yrs ago landlord would not replace. Normal window units did not cut it for various reasons. This seemed to be our last resort wish I had purchased one much sooner. It cools the back hallway, the kitchen, our living room, the front hall and with an extra fan pushing the air down the hall my son's bedroom. First the setup. It can be a bit tricky so take some time to do this without rushing. You know the measure twice cut once kind of philosophy. second if your house is humid I would start drying it out first with the dry mode. It pulled a lot of moisture out of the air and once it felt better we then switched to cooling mode. Then follow the directions in the manual on page 15. Our internal temp was 94 which was actually hotter than outside. Within a week it has managed to keep us between the high 70s and low 80s. Which is actually very comfortable given the temps outside. To use self evaporative mode make sure to attach the hose to the lower and upper drain. Using the upper drain only you will need a bucket to catch the water the unit does not cool as well doing it this way. NOTE** it will help to cool the room(s) better is you use a fan that oscillates on low setting to help move the air around.

It makes a lot of water and depending on floor type its loud
It's loud and you will need a large bucket for it to drain. It's production of water is alot. Now.. I am curious if the water is safe to use for my plants.. will get it tested lol.. loud depending on the floor it's sitting on. Thick carpet quieter.. floor It's vibration will increase the noise. . Works great except the buttons on the machine are not sensitive to touch so you gotta push. Remote work well and you need your own AAA for the Remote as well. I waited 12 hrs then plugged in.. have gad it on of on off sitting on....of. and once all night. All night needs a bucket seriously. All n all I am happy. At 98 it was 62 in here. Also the fan is weird.. you might need to rotate the machine. The gray part inside dose not come off.. I looked and looked.. so it blows to the right.. but again great ac for the price. I had a eqk for 409.00. This blows just as cold but more water production with this on. If your rich have a terrible neighbor below.. this is the perfect ac to drip on them lol.. 5 stars on durability 5 stars on cooling. 5 stars on packaging. 2 stars on drainage . So I'd probably buy again at this price. Wish they included a 2 gallon with slender bucket. Lol

COOLS AN UNINSULATED OUTDOOR ROOM QUICKLY
We live in South Carolina where it's hot and humid. The unit came well boxed and arrived in perfect condition within 4 days. We have a 20x12 room with vinyl windows that are 8' tall, vaulted ceilings and uninsulated. The fact that you can run a drip line or not help with my decision to purchase this unit. We are amazed at how well the unit cools. It takes about 10 minutes for our porch to become somewhat comfortable and within 20, everything is good. The unit is quiet, light weight and very easy to move around, the wheels work great. We are very pleased with this air conditioner and would recommend it to anyone who needs portable cooling. UPDATE TILL OCTOBER: We like the unit, but it couldn't keep up July and Aug in South Carolina, we were asking a lot.
