My AC unit in my house is old and on its last leg. It is struggling to keep my house cool now that it is getting hot and close to summer. I bought this window unit to put in our living room to help keep it from warming up too much during the day when the sun is out and it has been worth every penny! It is quiet on the low setting but is a bit on the louder side on the highest setting. However I’ll take that over a hot house any day! The fan blows the cold air pretty hard so it circulates well in my living room, even though it isn’t meant for a room that big. When it is blowing directly on me from 10 feet away it is pretty chilly so I had to turn it upward more. The dehumidifier works well and is much needed since it gets up to 80% where I live. The water fills up quickly, but the unit has a hose to empty when needed. It was fairly easy to setup and use. The plastic end pieces screwing into the window exhaust tube helped them stay in place which was a nice little touch. The remote works well and is nice works well from 10-20 feet away. I think this unit is intended for vertical or longer windows so I had to trim off part of the plastic for it to fit my window well. I recommend buying some foam liner to go around the plastic window piece to keep warm air from coming into the house. Overall very pleased with the cooling power of this little unit!

Honestly, this portable AC saved my sanity during last week's heatwave! I set it up in my home office in under 10 minutes, and the difference was instant. I love that I can switch from blasting cold air in the afternoon to just using the dehumidifier mode on muggy evenings without changing units. I purchased the 10k BTU unit to try and cool my small house(650 square feet) for the summer season here in Pennsylvania. The window adapter fit perfectly and it was super easy to vent out my window. I like that the cord has its own safety features, as I run the unit when no one is in the house. It's a relatively small design and I think the quality is decent overall. The buttons can be a little difficult to navigate but the remote works like a charm. A couple negatives that I have: - there is a slight chemical odor when using the unit. Nothing terrible but definitely noticable. - I would highly recommend using the drainage hose, as my unit drips about 2-3 gallons of water during the course of the day. PA is very humid in the summer, so that may be the cause. - as advertised, the unit should cool approximately 400 - 450 square feet. I'm using it to cool about 350 square feet and it does struggle to cool the space quickly. During the heat of the day (90°+), the unit pretty much runs constantly to maintain 79°. - the thermostat on the unit seems to be about 3°-5° off from other thermostats in the same room. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, it does keep the house dry...it cools a little bit faster during the evening hours... it pushes cold air (55°-59°F) out consistently... nice remote features... I would recommend using in a larger single room. Like a small office, medium sized bedroom or living room. But I wouldn't recommend using it to cool multiple rooms at once, as I may have to get another unit next summer season. Hope this helps.

**updating 7/29/23** I initiated a refund/return on 7/25. UPS picked up the package on 7/26. As of today, the tracking has not been updated to show that UPS has picked it up and it still says “UPS will be picking up today”. I’m a bit concerned at this point that the tracking hasn’t been updated and my money is hanging out there in limbo waiting to be refunded as the package needs to arrive back in CA by 8/11 in order for me to get my money back. **Updating this to one star, would do 0 stars if I could. This unit never worked properly, only blew warm to cool air. Never cold. I did have it on the right settings, as well. Then, when I gave up and turned the unit off and unplugged it, figuring maybe giving it a rest, my entire apartment smelled like chemicals which means it possibly had some kind of leak, most likely Freon/refrigerant. This then caused me to have to heat up my apartment even more in order to air it out with open windows and doors and hoping beyond hope that I didn’t make myself and my cats sick from the chemical smells/gases. I even had it sitting on my patio for almost 2 hours and it still smelled when I packed it back into the box. I will be returning this as soon as I get a chance to be available for UPS to pick up right from my apartment. Due to the pain this thing has caused, I’m not going to lug it down three flights of stairs, only to try to find a ride to the closest UPS location to drop off. **Previous review**So far only 2 stars. Installation was simple, it turns on and runs, not too loud. It’s taking a while to cool off my bedroom let alone my apartment. Sometimes it’s an okay temp when I walk into my bedroom and sometimes it’s warm. I will sometimes stand in front of the AC to see if it is pushing cold air out and it is only pushing out either warm or cool. So far I’m not happy with this product and we are scheduled to have 95° weather this weekend. I’ve been slowly lowering the temp on the AC to see if that is what it needs. Started at 73, then I lowered it slowly down to 62. No change. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. If I shut my patio door it gets hotter in here like the AC is only pushing warm air out. So now I have to have my patio door open with a fan in it pushing the warm air out.

Really happy with this portable AC. It cools my room quickly, is easy to set up, and the remote makes it very convenient to use. I also like the timer feature and how it helps reduce humidity in the room. Great value for the price and perfect for hot summer days.

Air is cold and will cool a room fairly quickly, but I have some complaints. First off, why would you put the ducts and drain on the back??? I want this to fit flush against the wall and be able to aim it where I’ll be sitting to maximize its effectiveness. Instead, you either have to sit it flush sideways, pointed at a random wall, or leave it a foot and a half from the wall taking up much more room than it should. Second complaint is the drain hose. It is way too short and should be higher up on the unit. I had to route it to go outside my window because the ac makes so much water, except it sits so low on the unit that the water wouldn’t be able to flow out of it. My temporary setup until I can get my central ac fixed is stacking it on top of a tote and tool box to have it drain properly out my window. Next complaint is the ducting. Terrible to use and the attachment point to the unit is horrible and always falls off. It is also quite loud and makes some strange noises. Overall it’s decent for the money, but I recommend getting a better one. Only reason I got this one is that it was the only one with next day shipping and I live in central Florida so it’s super hot outside.

En general, estoy MUY contento con este aire acondicionado. Durante mucho tiempo he tenido miedo de comprar este tipo de aire acondicionado (portátil en lugar de unidad de ventana), pero debido a las ventanas que son comunes aquí en México, no tenía otra opción. Sin embargo, me ha impresionado esta unidad. No es demasiado ruidoso, muy comparable a un aire acondicionado de ventana normal, y la configuración baja es aún más silenciosa. Fue MUY fácil de instalar. Enfría la habitación muy bien y rápidamente. El único problema es que el tubo de escape no está aislado y se calienta mucho. La entrada del aire acondicionado puede succionar aire caliente del tubo de escape, así que como puede ver en mis fotos, lo cubrí con una cortina para evitar que esto suceda. Tampoco forma un buen sello donde el tubo se une a la máquina en la parte posterior, así que agregué cinta adhesiva para ayudar con esto. Compraré un tubo de escape aislado para reemplazar este en el futuro. De lo contrario, recomiendo encarecidamente este aire acondicionado. Se ve muy bien, moderno y funciona perfectamente. ¡Lo recomiendo mucho!

Es un muy buen producto, enfría bastante bastante rápido, en cuanto a funcionamiento no hay problemas, el asunto es que hace bastante ruido a mi parecer , esto es incomodo para mi habitación, otro aspecto es que mi instalación eléctrica se ve afectada, se nota como da el bajón de luz , no quiero que se vayan a descomponer mis demás aparatos como pc, tv sonido, lo devolveré, espero que todo salga bien, viene con el kit de ventana es de fácil instalación. En lo personal a mi no me convenció el producto, muchas reseñas dicen que es silencioso , para mi no , subiré un video estos días.

Así que, si quieres ser el rey del frescor en medio del calor, este mini split es tu mejor aliado. ¡Confía en mí, es como tener un pedacito del Ártico en tu hogar!

De momento mi mejor compra del 2023 para estos p…tos calores insoportables, el aire cumple para enfriar un cuarto pequeño, tarde mas o menos 45min en climatizarlo y hacerlo agradable, apenas lo recibí hoy pero funciona muy bien, las instrucciones vienen en ingoes, afortunadamente hablo ingles por lo que no es problema pero tampoco es algo complicado la instalación, viendo las imágenes te puedes dar una idea del igual.. actualizare la review en un mes de uso a ver que tal me va, pero de momento, ya puedo dormir tranquilo

Es un poco ruidoso nada que deba de preocupar, lo ocupe en un área de 4x4 metros y si la mantiene fresca en un área mayor le cuesta trabajo, lo recomiendo ampliamente. Saludos
