Sound Desk Compact Professional Studio Workstation with Pull-out Keyboard Compartment (Black)

A really nice smallish desk for a small to medium room. Not tiny. Nice quality across the board! Everything is cut very square and I like the grip that the paint has. My stuff will not be sliding around , seems scratch resistant. The Keyboard drawer fits and slides well and has enough for about a 4" tall keyboard/ synth etc. Seems very sturdy like the whole unit. If you're over 6' tall you may not want to use the lowest keyboard drawer setting though. Your knees might be rubbing against the bottom. The racks seem pretty well aligned compared to others I've used before. Mine set in perfectly. The cable management cubby works OK, I wish there was a hinged door to access from top or under frontside, but atleast it's there. A cable management pack is suggested for help though. I have a feeling Glorious will be selling a lot of these. If I had a bigger room I wouldn't hesitate to pur hase the bigger one. Quality German engineering, great job Glorious!

I love this desk! Watching my son put it together, it became very obvious that what I was paying for was the design and engineering that went into it, not so much the materials. Lots of pieces come with this desk, however, 27 of the screws, washers, and nuts are for the racks. My son put the all screws in the rack brackets so they wouldn’t get lost. I think that was a smart move on his part. I especially like the drawer for holding MIDI controllers. My Roland A-49 works great in this desk Assembly advice: ———————- 1. Study the instructions FIRST, before beginning assembly! The instruction diagrams are printed in a gray ink, rather than a dark black, making them difficult to see. Too small for my eyes. Lol 2. They seem to have thought of almost everything, except providing a few extra assembly parts, so be careful. They even provide a couple of tubes of wood glue! 3. After completing Step 11, BEFORE putting the top on the desk, stand the half-finished desk up on its legs. Then check the drawer height, as it comes installed too high for most MIDI controllers. A.) Advice here: lower the drawer sliders in the legs at least 3/4ths of an inch extra so your MIDI controller can clear the side-by-side metal support bar on the top. The drawer sliders are much, much easer to get to without the top on. I removed and re-installed the drawer tracks to their lowest setting, thanks to all the predrilled holes. I’m short, so leg room was not a concern for me. B.) If you’re tall, install the drawer sliders to their second lowest position (2nd lowest predilled holes on each side). Next, place your MIDI controller in the drawer and measure from the highest point on your MIDI controller to the top of the desk legs. That should be at least 1” to allow room for your controller to cleaer the support metal bar in the desk top. I highly recommend this workstation for content creators of all types!

This Glorious Studio Furniture desk was really difficult to assemble and took almost 2 hours. The instructions are very complicated but we managed to follow them well with little problems. There were a few corners that the paint was chipped off, the screws would take off some of the finish when you screwed them in and there were even spots around the screw holes that were chipped already and repainted. The desk is really sturdy, somewhat heavy and the satin finish is slightly textured. The desk is made of thick pressed wood that is coated. Nice looking and sturdy studio desk but I wouldn't say this is a good value.

Decently sized desk and seems sturdy. It did take 2 hours for me to build but the instructions were easy to follow!

Desk has a very strong build to it, lots of space for a small/mid size desk. Took me about and hour to put together and instructions were pretty easy to follow. It has space for my Scarlet 20i18 and my rack mounted power supply on one side, and on the other side I have space for other keyboards and accessories. my only complaint is that there is no headphone hanger, but you can find stick-on ones here on amazon that are pretty cheap.

It is enough space.

This work station was a breeze to assemble and has been sturdy and reliable. It is made for a sound system engineer, but is easily converted to any use. It is strong but not too heavy to move.
