This holds ice in the water for 2-3 days!!! I have used it many times in 90 F plus heat all day and run out of water but still have ice in this jug. If you fill this full of ice it will definitely keep ice in it until 2-3 minimum and 3-4 maximum in hot weather, put half ice in the 1 gallon jug and it will hold ice for at least 1-2 days no problem. I am very pleased with this insulated water jug. It is heavy duty, well made, I have had no problems with the handle working or getting the lid off or on. AND I have had no leaks, I just tighten the lid as normal person would, also the screw cap lid never leaks either, you just have to make sure you seat it up correct before turning and tightening it down, I know because I have turned this jug over many times accidentally inside the truck or car and it never leaked in the floor board ever.

What you need if you work work! This ,means working outside, beekeeping, farming, mowing, WORK! To keep microplastics out of your body, as best as you can, stop stop stop with the single use plastic water bottles. Do you know if you leave them in the car, or in the sun its an extra helping of those micros.? Its probably too late, at almost 40 years drinking out of single use containers, but it makes me feel better. I am lucky to have excellent well water. I can empty one a day when beekeeping in this heat. These jugs take a beating, and you can drink right out of them, or pour into the SS coffee mug. Cheers

Bought this for work and personal to get hydrated for long. Honestly, wasn't expecting it to be this big as I usually do not trust things online. Tested if it'll leak upside down while sealed close, did pretty great. Overall great, got no issues with it especially its just a water bottle.

Inexpensive, large capacity. The thing is insulated and will keep ice water still very cold all day long. also I adore the fact that the opening in this thing is wide enough to fit my whole hand/forearm down into it, it makes it incredibly easy to clean. The one minor issue I can think of for it is the silicone gasket up at the screw on lid (at the mouth piece, not the entire lid's threading) is that it gets gunk built up around it and I've struggled to find a tool small enough to get into the groove to clean it properly. But that's more my failing than it is of the product. I like this water bottle enough that if this one ever broke I'd likely just go buy another one it. I'm honestly not sure how other reviews complain about the lid breaking, Ive owned this for quite a long time with 0 issues. Just don't drop it on the lid when it's full of water I guess?

I filled this one time with filtered drinking water and the next time I went to fill it, I noticed a big rust spot in the bottom inside of the bottle. I am hoping this was just one defective bottle but I am not sure I will take a chance again.
