I love this coffee! At the end of our holiday in Italy, I really wanted to bring some coffee home. Having trawled the local supermarket, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the choices available, so asked the hotel receptionist for recommendations. She said, 'Kimbo Gold', without a doubt. So, I brought a pack home, loved it, and wanted more! This order arrived quickly and tastes wonderful - it is medium bodied with a chocolate undertone. It is not at all bitter - smooth and mellow - perfect for morning, or after dinner.

The container arrived dented, but worse is that the container has a very loose plastic push on lid and not the screw lid as shown. The lid is so loose that it is not airtight and so cannot keep the coffee fresh. Very disappointed as I paid the much inflated price for the container.

Neapolitan coffee, taste of Napoli , always reminds me of home. l was born in the bay of Naples brought up on Kimbo Still smoother than most.

Every once in a while, I like to try new things, especially switching up coffee. Upon delivery, opening up (be careful coffee is very well vacuumed sealed and rises up), and making my first pot, I notice a freshness, a quality and not over powering scent. The grind itself is probably finer than your average drip coffee. When I pour the coffee, the aroma enhances the first sip. It is dark roasted, yet medium balanced, and remarkably smooth. To me there is no notes that are more pronounced, hence balanced. I savored every sip. Given my feelings about the quality, I would say for a single person, it is a good value. (90/100) It was not the espresso on Vincenzo’s Plate rating scale, but the brand. Look forward to trying other Kimbo coffee.

The coffee tasted ok however I was disappointed to find it was packaged in July 2019 with a best-before of July 2021. I purchased in April 2021. That's a long way from being the freshly ground coffee I was after.
