The VARTA Industrial Pro AA 40-pack is a pragmatic choice if you have a house full of high-drain devices that seem to eat batteries for breakfast. Unlike the flashy consumer versions in colourful blister packs, these are the "no-frills" version intended for trade use. Being made in Germany, they tend to have much tighter quality control, meaning you’re far less likely to find a "dud" in the box or have one leak and ruin your electronics. The bulk packaging is a win for anyone who hates faffing with plastic-and-cardboard wrapping. You get a simple, compact box that stores easily in a drawer. For now, they provide a consistent, reliable voltage that keeps everything from digital scales to wireless keyboards running exactly as they should. However, the real "truth" about alkaline batteries is their "shelf life" vs. "active life." While they are perfect for toys and mice, if you put these in an emergency torch and forget about them for five years, only time will tell if the seals hold up. Even "industrial" alkalines can eventually leak if left depleted in a device. They are also not a magic fix for high-power cameras or flash units—for those, you'll eventually realise that rechargeables are the only way to stop burning through money. For the moment, it’s a high-quality, high-quantity bargain that ensures you won't be caught short during a Sunday afternoon "low battery" crisis.

Le avevo già comprate e le ho ricomprate, la prima volta 40 ed ora 100. Mi sono preso la briga di misurarne il voltaggio a vuoto a campione una su due e non ne ho trovata nessuna anche solo parzialmente scarica. Prodotte nella seconda metà del 2019 con scadenza 2029 (10 anni). Con le prime acquistate non ho mai avuto problemi di perdite di liquido anche in occasionali scariche totali protratte per molto tempo (torcia lasciata accesa e dimenticata poi per mesi e giochi dei bambini lasciati accesi e abbandonati per diverso tempo) Stavolta, avendo letto recensioni relative alla scarsa capacità, ho voluto sacrificarne tre e le messe in un caricabatterie/analizzatore (maha-powerex mh-c9000) per un ciclo ovviamente di sola scarica. Il risultato è stato più che buono: con termine scarica a 0.9V e corrente di scarica di 200mA la capacità misurata è stata di circa 1,85Ah non contento ho ripetuto il ciclo sulle stesse batterie con corrente di scarica settata a 100mA e le pile hanno erogato altri 300mAh per un totale di quasi 2,2Ah. Con corrente di scarica più alta, 500mA la capacità è stata di 1420mAh sempre con fine scarica a 0,9V. Ho trovato su internet test analoghi eseguiti su altre batterie e devo dire che, prendendo come riferimento la tensione di fine scarica di 0,9V imposta dal mio apparecchio, le Varta Industrial Pro si sono comportate un po' peggio delle Duracell Ultra (prime in classifica) e un po' meglio delle Energizer Max o delle Varta MaxTexh. (seconde e terze in classifica). Qualcuno potrebbe dire che essendo gli apparecchi di test diversi non è corretto fare un paragone diretto ed ha ragione, ma una indicazione di massima sulle buone prestazioni di queste batterie credo di averla comunque data.

Le uso per il mio controller xbox e devo dire che per il prezzo che costano hanno una durata più di quel che ci si aspetta
