I purchased these to complete a vintage Hitachi turntable I bought at a thrift store. The turntable was complete other than the hinges to connect the cover. So for those keeping score these are a perfect fit for the Hitachi HT-40S turntable.

I have two turntables, a UK model Sony PS-212A and a USA model PS-212 both from 1978. One of the dust covers has been missing hinges forever. Found these online, and am impressed. They are the same size and fit as the originals and I cannot tell the difference. Only the rivet that holds the hinge mechanism together looks slightly different, but functionality is identical. I've included a pic of the original hinges and these replacements. Fitment is rock solid, as is functionality. I have no doubt these will last the lifetime of my turntables.

Very versatile parts and probably fit a multitude of LP units. Worked perfectly with my vintage Pioneer PL-55X, however, will not provide enough tension to keep cover in the upright position. I have an aftermarket cover which is significantly lighter than original which was cracked. All said, I would recommend.

They were made for a different brand than one I have, but I made them work anyway. They worked fine.

I was very excited when I found these hinges for my Sony PS-X600. I had looked and looked across the internet for used or new replacement hinges and came up empty-handed time and time again until I found these. Easy to install and they fit perfectly. However, the spring tension is not able to support the lid. On the one hand it seems better than nothing, on the other hand I'm afraid the lid is going to fall at just the wrong time and cause damage. I'm conflicted... I plan to keep these for now but I will keep my eyes open for a better hinge that will get the job done right. Hopeful this company will address the issue in some way. I'd be willing to pay the difference for any improvement.

These replacement hinges fit perfect and work great on my, wow, 45 year old Realistic Lab 420 turntable. It is great to not have to hold it open when I use it anymore!

These worked great for the dust cover on my Sony turntable. The springs in these seem a bit stronger than the ones they replaced, so the cover stays open very slightly. I expect this will change with age. They look identical to the originals.

トリオのKP-700のダストカバーヒンジからスプリングが突き出してしまい、カバーを開いた状態 を保持できなくなったため、この部品に交換しました。 本体金具にも、カバーの取り付け部にもジャストフィットします。交換もはめ込むだけで簡単です。 スプリングがオリジナルより弱めに感じますが、最後まで開けば落下はしてきません。 もし経時で弱くなってくるようなら、分解してオリジナルのスプリングに交換するつもりです。 追伸です。 10日ほどしてカバーを開けたところ、保持できずに落ちてくるようにまりました。 しばらく閉じているとスプリングの復元力が下がり、保持力不足になるようです。 先に書いたように、改造(軸を金鋸で切って抜き、カバー側のパーツのみ本品のもので、スプリングと 軸と本体側のパーツはオリジナル品を使い組み直し)したところ、反発力が強くなり、同じくらい経って も今度は保持できているようです。 改造ベースとしては良いのですが、製品本来の性能は不足でしたので、評価を下げさせていただきます。

Perfect replacements for the hinges on a vintage record deck. Even to screw holes lined up exactly with the originals. The original hinges had become brittle with age. The acrylic cover is now working as intended.
