We bought this for my car-obsessed six year old because it was the closest model I could find that mimicked my Corolla Cross. He loves it—he takes it to bed, even. All the doors open, including the trunk. The hood opens too, and the headlights light up. To get the lights and sound on, you push down on the top of the car so the body compresses down onto the wheels a little; the headlights and rear lights will come on and the car will rev up. It’s made of metal and not plastic, though I’m sure with some rough handling, a window or windshield will pop out. It did come screwed to a display plate but we unscrewed it for play. It is powered using button batteries.

My granddaughter just got a RAV4 and was so excited about it that I decided to give her this model which is the same model and color as hers and she keeps this model on her dorm room desk at college. The model is first rate—solid construction and materials and doors, hatch and hood all open. Really cool!!!

I recently bought a brand new Rav4, and my son was so obsessed. So I bought him this little model. It's so adorable and looks just like my own Rav4. He's so happy with it. The only issue I've noticed is the speaker sounds a little off. But it doesn't affect my 5 stars. We love it!

So I decided to play a prank on my wife. I got this which is really close to the car she got and replaced it with the model and hid the real car in the garage. Seeing her face trying to figure it out was worth it. All doors, hatch, and hood open. You can take it off the base with a small screwdriver and it will light up and make sounds when you open the driver door. It also will take off if you pull it back on the ground and let go. It will accelerate a little ways like a typical toy car. Overall, pretty cool.
