A great square with an irritating feature
A man can never have enough squares - and the more I 'DIY' the more I appreciate accuracy. So this was a helpful purchase. It measures nicely square (in time honoured fashion I drew a line with it perpendicular to a known straight edge and then flipped it over and it was a perfect match - pic 1). It feels sturdy and well-machined. But I concur with an earlier reviewer that for a device which is sold as a good way of setting your table saw height, it has a frustrating error. The scale starts at zero above the base (see pic 2). So for table-saw setting (pic 3) you need to add/subtract 5mm (I measured - see pic 4) from the height. Now I understand that in many applications you would want the scale to start there - if you were marking out wood for example - but it might have been a nice idea to have the scale on one side as it is and on the other from the base. But to be honest, adding 5mm is not too difficult to remember, so in practise I don't think it effects the usability of the square which is why I have still given it 5 stars since it seems well-machined and sturdy..

Square inside & out!
:It's square and measurements are precise (but not Preciva branded or priced).:If using it for measuring height of tablesaw /router etc (and not as a set square), the base is 5mm, so will need taken into account or remove base with allen key.:Made of fairly heavy stainless steel, appears robust enough and decent value for money.

Very accurate
Tested it's squreness quality against my tried and tested Moore and Wright engineers square and it came out perfect. When I tested the sle engraved with my digital caliper, again it came out perfect. 10/10 for accuracy. Good value for money.
