Solid rechargeable batteries
I bought these batteries for wireless microphones. Once fully loaded, they do a great job, and work for 2 hrs+ (1hr rehearsal + 1hr performance). I also got some in my guitar (tuner), and didn't need to re-charge since one year now. Important: get a good "smart" charger which automatically cuts the power once it detects that the batteries are fully loaded. That way, you always have 100% recharged batteries and get a long lifetime of the batteries.

purchased due to higher mA capacity. It does not last long. 1.2 Volt capacity spoils quartz clocks. Size not to the universal standard.
