It's a really good shampoo. Just wash your hair without getting it too oily. It prevented my hair loss, and please remember that you should also treat your hair with scalp-strengthening treatments such as argan oil or rosemary water. It's not just shampoo.

Hermz laboratories are based in Poland, and have a good reputation for their medicated products relating to skin problems. I didn't know they produced hair products, so was curious to give them a try. This shampoo is part of their 'Hair LXR' system, consisting of 4 products: 1) 'Peeling Shampoo'; 2) Shampoo; 3) Conditioner; 4) Serum. The idea seems to be to use all 4 as part of a programme to combat weak or thinning hair and 'improve anchorage to the scalp'. All sounds very scientific.... I have only the shampoo and conditioner to try. A list of the ingredients has not thrown up any warning signs. One good thing is that it is not tested on animals and is approved by the GMP ( Good Manufacturing Practice). It states that it contains no sulfates, yet Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate is clearly on the list of ingredients. I'm not sure what that means? Anyway, the proof is in using it. This shampoo comes in a pump action bottle and is a clear looking and fairly odour-less mixture. I did the usual massaging and rinsing. It cleaned previous products out and lathered and rinsed well, but as most shampoos do this it is hard to compare. I thought I detected a slight medicated smell but nothing precise. All well and good. I did follow it up with conditioner from the same range and this is reviewed separately. ... What did I think of it? Well, it is hard to compare with other brands as it did the job adequately, but maybe it is too soon to see any particular benefits. Apparently this shampoo has a "combination of Nettle Extract, Prebiotics and bond builders" which is meant to strengthen the structure of weak, brittle hair. I don't know about that- it is just another shampoo to me. I did feel that it cleaned my hair and scalp and the conditioner afterwards left it feeling smooth and shiny, if a little dry. A decent shampoo that might be more to your liking if you suffer weak or thinning hair.
