One degree higher or 1% more and the difference can be staggering
In many respects a straightforward simple concept of a book with simple examples that are hard hitting. I liked the examples that 2 minutes here and there add up so quickly to a substantial amount of time. It's easy to reflect on things in your own life where a small change could add up to a big improvementSometimes it's easy to expect big change to be complex and sometimes it's just not

How to waste your money!
Page 3 says it all "So simple is the analogy, that you can stop reading right now, walk away with the opening though planted in your mind and you can benefit from this for the rest of your life." Well, let me save you some money by giving you the opening thought! At 211 degrees water is hot, at 212 degrees it boils and can power a locomotive. The problem is that the author tries to sunstantiate the price charged by stretching this over 73 pages. He really starts dredging the bottom of the barrell when he starts filling pages with stats about previous sporting events and one line quotes. That is one line per page!Clever or should I say irresponsible marketing..... don't become another sucker!

An Excellent Read!
I've used this book many times through the years to encourage teams I lead to enhance their work by one degree. This year's olympics confirms the information in the book in regards to the time difference between a Gold and Silver Medal. One of my favorite leadership books!

too short
This books cover and name were very enticing to pick up but the content are quite a let down. It is just a book of quotes with a few soaring lines

Excelente libro corto
Apenas mi segundo libro en inglés que leo.Me pareció sencillo y claro. Muy efectivas frases cortas digeribles.212 Un concepto sencillo y práctico que como la analogía utilizada hace una gran diferencia

one degree more
I read about this book in 'Banking on America' which is a great book that chronicles TD's history, and their current move into the US market. In the book some of TD's manager's refer to 212 degrees, and how it had made an impact on them. This book is written a little differently and I certainly prescribe and understand the philosophy of doing just a little better. The difference between normal water, and boiling water is just one degree. To see the one degree in action read Josh Waitzkin's book 'The Art of Learning' There is a guy that turned it up one degree.I do think the book itself could have turned it up 'one degree' more.

Muito superficial
O livro é muito curto e superficial... O vídeo do youtube que tem menos de 5 minutos passa o mesmo recado. Não recomendo.
