Snappy Clean Boost Pad Cleaning Powder

I used this powder to clean my buffing pad after wheeling out my boat. The pad was quite loaded with wax and dirt after the project was done, and I was not sure if I would have to just throw it away. I used to do body work when I was younger, and was very familiar with keeping the pad usable while in the project but had never really tried to clean it to a new like state. Wow, after several hours of soaking in the Snappy cleaning powder the pad looked brand new. Just a clean water rinse afterwards and your ready to machine dry, or air dry as I did. The package states you can use this on additional cleaning pads for the period of its life, but I only used it the one time. The product is Eco friendly so disposal is not a issue. I would highly recommend this cleaning product for all home project buffers and polishers. Dave P

Best way to clean your pads! I mix this with about 3 gal warm water in a 5 gal bucket. Inside the bucket I have a grit guard. As I finish a pad it begins soaking in the bucket. I'll end up throwing all my used pads in the bucket then take another grit guard and place it over the pads in the bucket. It prevents them from floating up. I have a long piece of PVC that I am able to use to agitate the soaking pads. I place one end of the PVC onto the topside grit guard and then begin to push down and let come up etc. etc. pads come out super clean after a quick rinse. Definitely worth trying out!

It can remove chemicals from the pads. I didn't realize that I should soak the pads into the solution as soon as I am done with the pads. But that didn't affect how clean the pads were after I had cleaned the pads. Next time I will soak the pads as soon as I am done with them.I also like the fact that they come in multiple sealed small packs. Then I only need to open one pack at a time, and leave the rest sealed.

I've used this product a few times and actually this past weekend to wash some pads and micro fiber towels. I wax the cars at home and find that dish soap doesn't the polish/glaze/wax out of the pads like this product does. Just ordered it for a second time..it lasts me a few years as I do the family cars.

Worked great - even on a pad that I had used to apply wax with. Just let it soak for a day or so and washed in the washing machine.
