Generally, the more cycles per hour, the better. how many ponds of carbon total?

Thank you for your interest in our air purifier. The AD5000 model has 3.3 pounds (1500 grams) of carbon total. 1.65 pounds (750 grams) per filter. However, evaluating carbon by its weight alone is not a good measure of its effectiveness. You could have 10 lbs of carbon made out of coal with larger particle sizes that will have very little effect on removing contaminants. AirDoctor carbon is from high-quality activated carbon sources.
