Great book, loved it

I loved the Cinderella meets Bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks concept.The storyline kept me intrigued and laughing at some of the real life shenanigans I could relate too.

These are new authors to me and I wasn’t sure I'd like it, but I couldn’t put this book down. From the first page to the last, I was hooked and loved every word. I definitely recommend this book and I will definitely look for more books by these great writers.

Loved this book from start to finish

I just loved this small town love story full of crazy lovely characters and the main hero who’s willing to fight for his love

The story has a modern Cinderella trope. Evelyn has to deal daily with her step mother and brother and soon her step sister joins the party. The lodge is soon to be declared bankrupt and the only person working themself to the bone is Evelyn.Lucas comes back to town for an illegal fight. However, the ladies in town thinks he is looking for a wife. He's hounded wherever he goes. He decides to offer a fake engagement deal to Evelyn where they both win.This leads to some hilarity and small town camaraderie.

Really enjoyed this book. Couldn’t predict how it would turn out but it was quite delightful.

Every once in a while you want to read a book that will make u want to not put it down until the main characters do what u want them to do, dammit! ;o) This is that book. Lucas, a fighter who "grew up in the wrong part of town", comes home after becoming a champion. He's not going to the trailer park he grew up in, no, he's headed for the biggest n best hotel in town! Only now it's not! It's terribly run down, falling apart. Evelyn inherited the lodge and its cabins from her parents and she is working like crazy to restore it, her stepmother and stepsiblings having run it into the ground while she was in college. Good, good story if young love.

Enjoyed this book, the characters are real, and it’s a great read.

I liked this story once I got into it. The female lead is a little hard to like at first. She lets her family run all over her, yet snarks at her paying guest at her lodge. She apparently helps everyone in town, but refuses help when she needs it with her I'll do it myself attitude. But the hero still falls for her!

Lively, colorful characters. The author even makes you like the people you shouldn't, lol. Kept me engaged, interested and rooting for the happy couple.

Boxing not my favorite sport but did cover the basics. Romance started out fake but transitions to the real deal
