I purchased the KATIVA Brazilian Keratin Straightening Kit for myself, and I am amazed by the results. The entire process was so easy to follow, and I was able to achieve salon-quality results right at home. My hair became noticeably smoother, softer, shinier, and much easier to manage after just one treatment. I honestly couldn't believe how similar the results were to the expensive keratin treatments I've had at hair salons. Best of all, this kit saved me a trip to the salon and a significant amount of money while giving me the exact same beautiful results. I now spend much less time styling my hair, and it stays smooth and frizz-free much longer. The products feel high quality, the instructions are simple, and everything I needed was included. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who wants professional-looking results at home while saving both time and money.

My hair was dry, porosity, voluminous. My hair is basically completely gray and thick. Therefore, I am often coloring my hair which is already thick. I decided to try this product because the one I used before was no longer effective nor other two products that had a good rating but didn’t do anything to my hair, it was time consuming and a wasted. I was becoming frustrated with the idea to go to the salon and spend hundreds of dollars. I decided to try this product. What I first loved about this product is the smell. Is so good not toxic. I couldn’t believe it that was even going to work. I noticed that it took away a bit of the color from my hair that was built up and I loved it. It looks healthier, shinier and less volume. I am definitely buying again and doing my whole family’s hair with this.

Great product. M y hair is extremely straight. Small smell when applying the heat but well worth it.

This kit really works. I highly recommend applying it outdoors so the air can circulate, especially when using the flat iron. The process is long, but totally worth it. It’s been about three months, and while my roots aren’t as straight as before, the results are still visible through about half of my hair. Great product. Este kit realmente funciona. I bought this product back in Feb 2026 and applied it March 22, 2026. I read through many reviews but didn’t see anybody with my 4a-4c hair write a review. As far as shipping and packaging - everything was as expected. The instructions were in tiny font - I did need my glasses! I don’t recall gloves being included in the box either. 🙄 In reference to the product expectation - it worked! My hair usually swells immediately after flat ironing. With this product, it did not. I noticed after washing the treatment out, my hair dried so easily and I was able to flat iron it so much faster! I did install microlinks immediately after and it blended flawlessly. I am sitting here 3 months later with my hair still blended and resistant to humidity. I did use additional products during my in between flat iron sessions to assist but I’m not sure it was necessary. I took a star because I felt like I nearly lost my life during application!! Idk what’s in the product but as soon as I started applying it, I began coughing. I chalked it up to allergies initially. Once I started flat ironing, the fumes were nearly unbearable. I was about 3/4 finished when I was about to give up but I saw the progress and decided to keep going. Please make sure you are in a well ventilated area. I had the exhaust fan, the bedroom ceiling fan, and a box fan blowing through the bathroom and I was still coughing my head off. It took a couple of days for the smell to fully dissipate. You may ask am I ok. I risked it for the biscuit. I go to the doctor regularly, I’m fine. 😊 I’m not sure I’m willing to do this one again though. Maybe if I were in a garage…possibly..idk. First two pics were with low heat flat iron. I was trying to recover. Last pic with the extensions to show how straight my hair is after a high heat flat iron.

This product is amazing. It worked better than the original Brazilian blowout. I usually get at the salon. It was super easy to do on myself. I love it love it love it! I live in the southeast where it is super Duper humid every single day and when I go outside, my hair stays flat straight. I am so glad I bought this. I save myself so much money and I love the way my hair looks this…product will not disappoint you.!

Honestly- this product is incredible! The best product I've ever bought for my hair! I'm very Ocd on my hair- It took me 3hours, I have medium thick waist length hair. The product smell, is similar to home hair dye so well ventilated room is recommended. I followed the instructions to a T. 1. Wash your hair with the shampoo included- smells pleasant no issues very easy. 2. Dry hair completely 3. Section hair off into 4 sections and liberally apply product. I used a fine tooth comb to make sure I coat every strand properly and evenly distribute the product. It goes on very sticky. It also gives your hair a very product heavy feel. Waited 15min. 4. Drying your hair the 1st round is very tricky because of the product being sticky. I then sectioned off my hair and started flat ironing. 1" sections doing 6-8 passes on each strand. There will be a lot of vapour during Drying but less with flat ironing. 5. Your hair will feel product heavy and still sticky even when dry. 6. Wash your hair again with their shampoo- use all the shampoo and really wash all the sticky Ness out of your hair. Since very well. After this step my hair felt clean and light. 7. Add contionoiner the one provided- i used all of the conditioner and worked it through midlenght to ends and massaged my scalp. Left the conditioner in for 15min. Rinse all the condioner out of your hair. My hair was like silk. Super soft when wet. After towel drying my hair , I applied 6 pumps of the heat protectant provided and brushed my hair our. My hair was super silky, feeling light and straight. 8. Drying my hair the 2nd time around took maybe 10min including flat ironing. I didn't have to use my flat iron but just wanted to make sure the product was sealed in. I will color my hair in 6 days and will do another review of how my colour lasted and how long the product lasted in my hair. Seriously- if this lasts 12 weeks and doesn't effect my color. This might just be the ultimate "hair cheat code" - I live in Florida and we will see if my hair and this product work for our humidity.

Magnificent just like I wanted.. it leaves the hair really soft and smooth also pretty easy to apply.! Not problems whatsoever I'm liking it so much definitely buying more 🙏

It works well. My hair is now silky smooth, soft and somewhat breaks less. I'm happy I won't have to use heat tools for the next months. I also like that when under the rain my hair does not re-curl. I have 2c-3a type hair. My hair is not colored/not chemically processed and color did not change after the treatment. I still had half left over from the smoothing product. The photo is after the 1st wash. To see how it holds in the next weeks after several washes. To note that it took me a whole afternoon to do the process. But imo it's worth it if I won't have to use hair straightener for the next months. About the smell, I find they improved it compared to 3 years ago. The mask do smell after being heat, but I find that the after treatment shampoo makes the hair smell worse. I just suggest doing this like during ur holidays or so... So that u have around a week to let the smell dissipate. Do not forget to wear a mask and aerate when straightening! My lungs hurted when I accidentally inhaled the fume.

Ho voluto provare questo kit scettica, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere. Il trattamento richiede tempo (armatevi di pazienza per i passaggi di asciugatura e piastra), ma il risultato finale è pazzesco. I miei capelli, solitamente crespi e mossi, ora sono dritti, morbidissimi e lucidi. Anche dopo i primi lavaggi l'effetto lisciante regge alla grande e i tempi di asciugatura si sono dimezzati. Consigliatissimo se cercate un effetto professionale a casa a un prezzo ridicolo rispetto al parrucchiere.
