GAMES WORKSHOP Warhammer 40K: Space Marines: Infernus Marines & Paints Set

I haven't painted a Warhammer 40k since 2012 and was surprised to see the models are now bigger than they used to be. I was even more pleasantly surprised to find out the minis in this set are completely snap together and no glue was required to keep them in place, this was great when it came to painting as I could remove limbs for easier access to hard to reach places. Unfortunately, other sets in 10th generation 40K are sticking with glue but everything in this box will get you going for someone looking to get into the hobby or someone returning to the hobby. Great value for money for what you're getting!

Ok so, I am a long time Warhammer AOS and 40k fan. Got into the lore like 7 or so years ago. Slowly got into the (Not Tabletop yet) games. And As of a few days ago, recieved this. I have never painted any kind of model, or miniature in my life. I think I did a good job. Set came with everything. 3 bases. 3 Infernus marines, 6 paints, one brush. I understand there is two types of miniature offered by GW, Push Fit and manual glued. Obviously I am biased towards Push fit as that is all I own as of right now. Great quality, and for my first miniatures, I am sure I will be buying and adding more to this small, but soon to be growing collection. The colors are, from what I can tell, spot on, but then again, its obviously their own Citadel paints, so that is to be expected. Push fit style of assembly means it is very easy to do, with no glue. BUT, can also work with glue. All in all this seems to be a great set for people new to the hobby, after all, I am one of them. but as you can see, or so I am told, you can achieve superb results with even a entry level kit like this.

Amazing product if you’re new to the hobby

Perfect intro kit. Only thing I needed was some red for the eye lenses and a smaller brush to pull it off, but that was purely by choice. Technical paint for the base turned out way better than expected. This was my first step into the hobby and now I’m building an entire army!

This is probably the best kit for its price, if you’re looking to start Warhammer. The figures are super easy to assemble without even needing glue. If your looking to start minoring painting this is a great way to get a good selection of pretty universal paints that can be used for further projects as well as basing materials.

Very well put together models, has good quality pieces and paints. Instructions were very clear and consistent. Only negatives are that no spruee cutters and no primer were included. This kit combined with the army painter set will give you almost all the necessities you could need for an amazing price. Highly recommended for beginners into the hobby!

Got this for my bf his first set for Christmas. He absolutely loved them! He plans on building his collection and getting his friends to start up too since they all play together online.

Good material for teenagers. But please keep away from younger kids. Pieces are about an inch and one half in size.

Estás figuras están bastante bien, para comenzar a pintar las primeras figuras de tus facciones favoritas de Warhammer, la pintura se nota de calidad y el pincel es bastante rígido para que puedas dar esos detalles precisos. Recomiendo aunque no esté en el paquete usar pintura de imprimación para que quede mejor el color que decidan usar y luego un fijador de pintura mate o brillante según sus gustos

Nothing to dislike about this starter set except the Pauldrons have the ultramarine symbol already cast into them but they’re easy enough to smooth off if your careful with a hobby knife, under supervision of course if your young or married ! Then sand them down & smooth them off, unless you collect ultramarines or you want to clip the Pauldrons off to replace with your own factions like Deathwatch for example. The brush is citadel & a decent starter brush, I’m still using it for basing & the paints are decent citadel too, even got the base Armageddon Dust which is always a good go to for your bases. The 3 Infernus Space Marines are push fit so no glue needed but I always glue just in case but it’s personal preference. Overall it’s a great little starter kit for kids of all ages & the perfect way to get into War Hammer 40K, highly recommend.
