Good results but pricey
I had never heard of foreo before getting the opportunity to test out this facial cleansing brush and I was shocked at the price tag but when talking to friends they knew of the brand and said they had heard good things. The facial cleanser makes my skin feel lovely but I can’t say any better than cheaper versions I’ve previously owned. I find having to use it with the app just overcomplicates the use of it and really the app shouldn’t be necessary. I find it a nice size to hold, I also ordered the original sized one which I find too large to hold comfortably, the mini is much better. Good size for travelling it doesn’t take up much space. Lack of instructions via the app and none included with the cleanser itself. I had to google how to use it. I like the results I’m getting but I don’t think it’s worth the price tag you are definitely paying for the name.

DO NOT BUY
I hate this thing so much. I am insanely disappointed in it … and I got it for no charge!! I can’t imagine how furious I would be if I spent $200 on it!! I already had a similar rechargeable silicone facial massager that was a literal FRACTION of the cost that I loved. My teenage daughter likes to use it, too, so I thought I could get this one and pass the older one on to her so we didn’t have to share. I knew this one was supposed to be “smart” and could connect to your phone via an app, but I DID NOT KNOW IT WON’T WORK UNLESS YOU GET THE APP! I didn’t want to get the app. I don’t trust the app. I just wanted to wash my face, for heavens sake! But NOPE. The device won’t turn on until you get the app, give it permission to access your camera (because there is no number on the bottom to register it with, just a barcode), tell it when and where you bought it, give it your email, respond with a confirmation code, and let it connect to Bluetooth. Do you want my bank account and social security number while we’re at it?! Holy cow! Then, one of the times I opened the app, it wouldn’t let me proceed to the settings until I answered questions ranging from my skin tone to my age and fitness level. I lied on all of it just because I was so ticked off! Who does this company think they are that they can just demand your information and hold a product hostage after someone purchases it from them?!The way I got around the privacy issues (I think) is I went through their whole stupid process with the “hide my email” feature, connected to Bluetooth long enough to configure the settings the way I want them (because you can’t change them on the device itself … only on the app), and then deleted the app from my phone. Now I cannot change the settings (unless I download it again) but it seems to work offline with those preconfigured settings. I’m not sure if it will KEEP working after it dies and I have to recharge it. We’ll see. But at least, for now, I am able to use it without my phone. And the most pathetic part of all of this is THIS DEVICE IS NO BETTER THAN THE CHEAP ONE I GOT! As a matter of fact, I prefer the old one because I can change the settings with one click of a button on the massager and it has no app!I cannot emphasize enough how shady I feel this whole process is. I can’t help but feel like it is a way to get people to pay the company $200 so they can steal your info and invade your privacy! I am not opposed to smart devices or tech, but I am absolutely against being FORCED to give away my info to use a product as simple as a face cleaner. If you think I’m just being dramatic, go read the reviews for the app. I’m not alone is my anger.I will end my rant here. Just don’t buy this.
