This small bracket feels a bit flimsy and could not be relied upon to give a secure close to put off an intruder though is good enough to keep a window or such firmly closed if security is not an issue.I found that the fastening does not locate exactly at 90° but there is enough movement in the swinging fixing arm to accommodate this fact. That said it is evident that the swinging arm is out.It is small and neat, so for the right application, this is ideal.A bit pricy for what it is but if it is what you need then that is perhaps not an issue.

Terrible lock. Does not line up to allow it to be fitted and used. Avoid at all costs

OkI did not managed to fix it at the moment. May be our door little far to close. I leave it for someone who can fix that.

It doesn't do the thing you buy it for. Doesn't work when you try and fit to the outside of a door. The latch doesn't line up with the lock, I tried a packer behind the latch but still was off. Terrible, don't bother, buy something else
