This has the potential to be a great AP offering good real eorld connectivity of approx 1.2Gbps (this might seem lower than expected, but a lot more goes into the speed than just the AP) but is let down by 2 points. 1. The unit I received has either a faulty or poorly designed Ethernet port. Many CAT 5E and 6 cables would only allow a connection speed of 100Mbps to my Poe switch. The issue appears to be that the pins are recessed slightly too far. Eventually crimping a CAT 6 cable by not fully compressing the pins on one end allowed a stable 1Gbps connection. All cables that connected at 100Mbps gave a reliable 1Gbps connection on a D-Link AP. 2. Every day without fail the AP would cut out, showing as offline in the app / online management system. The SSID stops broadcasting and accepting connections. The unit gets reasonably hot. The only resolution is to unplug the AP for 30 minutes to allow it to cool. The POE switch used has reliably powering and providing data to other APs and SIP phones for a few years now, so I would be surprised if this is where the issue lies. The unit has been returned to purchase a different brand / model.

I've always bought Zyxel access points. They're so awesome, well built and simple to manage.

Offre connettività Wi-Fi 6 con velocità AX3000 e porta uplink Ethernet 2.5G. Con la connettività multi-gig, si possono raggiungere velocità superiori a 1 Gbps senza colli di bottiglia. Una funzione ottima è quella che permette di aggiornare l'infrastruttura senza dover effettuare il ricablaggio visto che lavora tranquillamente su cavo cat5e. La portata del Wi-Fi a 5 GHz è estesa con la tecnologia di streaming 3x3. Offre funzionalità di sicurezza avanzate come il captive portal e l'autenticazione IEEE802.1x. La gestione può essere effettuata tramite interfaccia utente locale o tramite l'interfaccia di gestione cloud NebulaFlex. Per concludere, il prodotto è davvero ottimo e permette di gestire efficacemente la rete aziendale in maniera completa, per questi motivi lo consiglio!

J'utilise ce point d'accès pour la domotique, je voulais un point d'accès au plafond et Poe en 2.5 G gérable via le Web et surtout aussi pour créer des VLans pour sécuriser la domotique. J'ai tellement aimé que j'en ai acheté un deuxième. J'ai testé aussi si un tombe en panne que le 2ème puisse prendre le relais test ok, il y a pas de choses que zyxel nous propose via nébuleuse certaines payantes intéressant mais pour ce que j'en fait pas besoin.

Sehr kompakter kleiner Access Point mit Netzteil und Montageplatte, Schrauben und Dübel. Kann auch über einen PoE-Switch betrieben werden, dann ist das Netzteil überflüssig. Ich verwende die beiden APs für ein kleines Heimnetzwerk, wobei ein AP an der Fritzbox per Kabel angeschlossen ist und der zweite nur per Netzteil mit 20 Meter Abstand liegt. Wenn Smart Mesh auf der Nebula Site eingestellt ist, funktioniert das super. Ein wenig Geduld bei der Installation über die Nebula App, denn der Status der Geräte wird nach ein paar Minuten erst aktuell angezeigt.

Das Web management ist sehr unstruckturiert und null intuitiv. Man sucht sich immer einen Wolf. Afür ist aber auuch echt ALLES einstellbar ! Der ap wird bei mir lokal verwaltet . Eine online management cloud ist nicht notwendig Der AP an sich ist sehr stark. Reichweite bis weit in den Garten. Aufstellort, hängend, zentral im Haus unter der Decke.
