Excellent piece of kit. My arthritic husband had an accidental fall out of bed. After the second time I ordered this equipment. He's not an elderly man but he struggles with health issues. He didn't like the idea of a bed guard but he finds it very good and wouldn't be without it now. It fits neatly under the mattress and it's not too intrusive. Not only has it prevented further falls he uses it to help him in and out of bed throughout the night. He keeps his phone in the pocket. It's a sturdy thing too. Definitely recommend, not major expensive either and I put it together in minutes. Very easy to position.

An excellent, well-made product. Ensures safety as one ages and the spectre of falling out of bed manifests. It is simple to install and is small enough to be inobtrusive.

This is an excellent product. Having recently had hip replacement surgery, I needed help getting in and out of bed. It comes flat packed but is easy to assemble. The horizontal part fits under the mattress and is held in place by the mattress and my own weight. The upright has a soft grip handle and a convenient pocket for small items such as phone, tissues, TV remote etc. My bed has a pine frame with slats for the base which the mattress sits on top of. We had to move one of the slats so that the two legs both sit on top of the slats. There is a safety strap which I didn't use. It would easily sit on a divan base. I used it for about two weeks. During that time it was robust and comfortable to use.

Not as stable as it could be due to usage with a divan bed - so nowhere for the restraining strap to be fitted. Other than that it is reasonably sturdy, easy to assemble and the storage bag can be quite useful.

Great bit of kit. Bought it after a hip replacement, it’s brilliant. Keeps me safe in bed, great to help me move about the bed, ideal standing aid. I 100% recommend this.

This best assist rail did the job as descibed. My wife had trouble getting in and out of bed but thanks to this assist,no longer.It is light and sturdy and I now get more undisturbed sleep.

Absolutely brilliant, assembled it without looking at the instructions in less than 2minutes. When you have back problems and can't easily move around so well in bed - this is great, I don't have to claw at my headboard. It does not make my mattress stick up as the bottom frame bit is more flatter not circular which is good. Very easily set it under my mattress, I have a divan bed and it also supports my weight with no trouble, I'm on the larger side currently. Not just for older folks, I'd recommend this to anyone with difficulties mobility wise. I did not attach the little bag that comes with it, I don't need to store anything personally. I can imagine some would find it useful though. It was a decent price that I paid I think. 10/10 it will make my sleeping endeavours easier, thank you.

This product is light but sturdy and easy to put together. It slides a good distance under the mattress but can still be repositioned up and down the bed when the mattress is on it. The user is unlikely to push the guard out of the bed if they roll against it but it could be pushed/pulled out if they use it for support when getting in or out of bed and for this reason it is worth using the supplied strap to strap it to something firm under the mattress. If you have a box foundation that is covered in fabric you may not have something suitable which is why it may be sensible to have one on either side of the bed so they can be strapped to each other, as in my case. If you have an open slatted-type bed frame you may have other options for strapping the guard in place. The document pocket can be removed and reversed if necessary.
