Q: Did you getting a light stream of air coming out of the machine, but No steam / No mist / No fog at all?

Q: Was it blowing air but no fog / no mist ?

Eventually I figured out that you can fill it only to about 1/2 inch under the Max level indicated on the tank. Any more water than that, and it will not start; it just pushes air with no fog. Apparently the ""floating"" atomizer cannot get in the right position with more water than that in the tank.
