After reading the reviews I decided to take a risk with this belly support. This is my third c-section and I have to say that this product has really helped me, not only with support, but also it has helped my belly get back to shape quickly. I looked at other brands of similar nature but being a woman with a shirt waist gave this a go. I highly recommend.

I am 5ft 2in, 170lbs pre-pregnany and 195lbs on the date of birth. I retained a ton of water during the birth so was extremely swollen everywhere afterwards. Under the belly bands, I wear a pregnancy compression undergarment that's just for the stomach. It helps reduce discomfort of the band digging in or if I'm hot, it helps alleviate moisture. You could even wear a thin tank top. I purchased the Original Bamboo version and followed the sizing instructions. With all my clothes before being pregnant, I've always worn L and XL so didn't trust the sizing chart. I went ahead and purchased both the Medium and Large just to be sure. 1 day post postpartum I didn't fit in the Medium, it was about 2 inches shy of fitting, so I kept the Large. I should have kept the Medium and waited about 1 week pp because I would have fit in it fine. My body just needed to get rid of all the water I was still retaining. About 3 weeks pp, the Large no longer fit; too big. One negative is the front of band has some kind of stiff material, like a board of some kind, and over time it becomes more flexible. I have a pooch stomach from the pregnancy and felt this board was not sinching my waist line because this board lost its stiffness and molded to my stomachs shape. 4 weeks pp, I then purchased the Medium BFF band and love it. It is about 2-3 inches shorter than the Original Bamboo version, it hits the middle of my waist line and just below my hip bone. Definitely gives me a muffin top. The size fits perfect and I love the 2 straps, you can customize the top and bottom, however tight you need it. It doesn't have that stiff board, like what's in the Original Bamboo version. Both bands are comfortable, as long as I wear the stomach compression undergarment (or thin tank top). I'm 6 weeks pp and wear both bands together. I first put on the BFF, to customize how tight I want the band and molds to my body. I then put on over it, the Original Bamboo. I keep it up higher (loosely) just to cover up the muffin top :)

This is definitely my bff. Every postpartum mom should have one. It's not the most comfortable thing in the word and you can notice it under clothing. I don't care though because it's helped me get my body back, have better posture and reduce stretch marks.
