Lente Designs® Apple iPad Air 1 cover case in Stirling Stripes multicoloured blue, green & orange stripe protective case printed on canvas

Bought for my new iPad Air1. (I did not want the iPad Air 2 as battery life is worse - Source: Which? consumer magazine reports.) I only chose THIS colourway becasue it was £5 cheaper than the other colour variants, which are all similar.Very happy with this. Feels well-made and not half as bad as my wife's cover, which is one of those with a hard plastic back; and a softer-backed front cover in one of many colours. (Loads of different brands, but they all look more-or-less identical, apart from the logos.) This seemed fine at first, and still is, but the colour 'skin' is now peeling slightly after about a year. (And when it - NOT THIS ITEM - fell of a sofa arm onto a tiled floor, the glass cracked a little, top right.)No chance of that with this one. It's fabric over quite thick board of some kind.Also, it is very good at not slipping apart when used in the 'Toblerone' angled stand modes (for viewing from a small distance away e.g. watching catch-up TV programmes), rather than just flipped back flat while being used. In which mode it is also fine.Some people may think it's a little bit chunky - 18mm thick with the iPad inside it, and the whole point of the Air is that it's very thin in profile, but I'm fine with that chunkiness.The stripes look attractive and professional. Any colourway looks good to me. A bit like you-know-who and his expensive stripey shirts / wallets etc.6 months old now, and no problems or noticeable wear. As it's printed fabric (bonded to some kinf of hard board which feels like some kind of foamed plastic, in a good way), it might be difficult to clean if you spilled black coffee on it, but I don't intend to be doing that.

Meets all expectations. These are the second set I have purchased for our iPads. The reason on changing is from the dirt of the old ones. These have aided the survival of the toddler years, temper tantrums slips trips and falls. Great colours patterns. Very happy. Could there be a pen/stylus holder on them maybe? 😀

Really good quality, doesn't feel like a cheap import, it feels like a carefully crafted product- which it is! If your looking for a well made and durable item that looks and feels good then this case is for you.If it's anything like their kindle covers it will last. Had mine for over five years now and it's still going strong!
