NOTHING is glued to the wall. There are just some waterproof curtains that need to be attached to the cleaning cover through Velcro to prevent dirty water from splashing or dripping down the wall, don't worry about damaging the wall.

small is for a 9-18K btu unit, and there has an elastic band around the outer edge to adjustable, If your unit is smaller or a little bigger in the range, it should be no problem.
