Artist Teabag Paper 14"x118" for Mixed Media Art,Handmade Paper DIY Art Craft

I got this to use with my Gel Press Plate. I typically use Yasutomo rice paper, but I've heard of so many talking about tea bag paper I wanted to give it a try. I really like it. I would compare it to artist grade wet strength tissue paper. It's lightweight, but doesn't easily tear by accident when using it on the plate. It can handle a lot of layers. I like to use it for collage purposes as it seamlessly blends in to whatever I'm gluing it to. The price point is higher than the rice paper I usually use, but it's worth it for the size. I've been working with my larger 12×14 plate, and I can cut this to size and it'll cover the whole plate.

I was a major skeptic of using tea bag paper for printing or art in general. Not anymore! It cuts and tears nicely, yet stands up to gel plate printing and alcohol inks. I especially love it for creating unique collage papers with alcohol ink. Very happy with the quantity and price.

Love this stuff for gelli printing - much better than wet tissue.

This paper absolutely lives up to the recommendation/demonstrations of its creator. Amazing strength. Accepts paint from the gel plate like a dream. Works so well with stencils because it's easy to manipulate in negative areas. Not one tear so far, and I really don't anticipate any. If you have a gel plate, you really should try it.

Bought for gelli print making. It is strong but wrinkles with the wet paint.

Good quality, good price. it is one long sheet of paper used for printmaking with gelli plate. I have had good luck with it as it is the thickness of tissue paper but doesn't tear.

This is a great product, but I wish it was a longer length.. I work on the mat side rather than the slick side. It is “skin” thin , great for collage … other tea bag papers can be thicker and thus not work the same way, this one “melts” into the art..love it I transfer photographs , it also loves acrylic inks..

Exactly what I needed for use in gelli printing and scrapbook making. Very strong when wet with acrylic paints. You can layer paints on these successfully. Strong and perfect for use in scrapbooking and making your own journals. Dyes well.
