Good quality pump sprayer and applied well. Suede jacket soaked it up didn’t alter appearance or damage anything. Used it on my motorcycle riding jacket. I applied liberally, I needed the entire bottle to cover a XXL men’s jacket. Ordered a second bottle as I want to do two applications. My jacket gets punished riding motorcycles! This products helps not only make exterior water resistant but helps clean bugs off of it too

This product works very well at providing a water resistant seal without effecting the color or finish of the leather or suede. I would recommend this product for an affordable leather treatment.

Great products from this company! Have used it on rough outs, Sueded caimans and smooth ostrich without darkening the colors. I also got the conditioner which works great on Sueded and rough outs.

Recently picked up a pair of suede chukka boots and needed a suede protector to apply. Found this one available on overnight delivery and ordered it. Application was easy and two days later I put it to the test when the boots were worn in the rain. Everything beaded up and the shoes were not affected. Would highly recommend if you need to protect your suede products.

The ‘Care & Cool Suede and Nubuck Protector’ came as an 8 ounce plastic bottle with a pump spray top (not aerosol). The box indicates instructions for use, and informs that the product is ‘Formulated in Reno, Nevada and produced in Turkey’. I like that the bottle is not aerosol; however, I think using a pump spray is a bit more difficult to be precise and neat during application. In addition, the pump spray on my bottle frequently dripped and resulted in protector on my hand. As with most similar products, applying two light coats is probably easier than applying a single heavy coat, especially with a pump spray. I applied the product to a single red suede athletic shoe (new in box, never worn). I do think the treated shoe is a slight shade darker when compared to the untreated shoe; however, once both shoes are treated there will be no difference of course. (There is no discoloration, just a very slight darkening.) The box definitely mentions that you should test a hidden area before applying to any item, and that is wise advice. The protector did not adversely affect other parts of the shoe, such as the rubber sole or smooth leather tongue. The box and the bottle do not mention how often to reapply this product, but the Care & Cool website suggests every two to three months in the FAQ section.

I bought nubuk leather cowboy boots. I love the boots and I really needed something to protect them. This did not change the color very much. It did slightly though, just so you're warned, and it works really well to protect my boots from the mud and stuff on my farm.

The main issue I noticed with this is that it makes my suede a little darker than the original colour! This can be nice for some people as it gives more character but for my purposes, I didn’t want any change of colour. Besides that issue, it protected against the elements of light rain.

I trust this on my expencive and beautiful suede & nubuck products!!! I highly recommend this👍👍

i liked the fact it was fairly "odor free"...however, the "pump spray" feature left my fingers sore, wet...not to mention several drips on the floor for me to wipe up as i used it on a new "loveseat".
