Looking for a replacement for my hospital grade one and impressed with quality and function. Able to bend the metal to the shape of my hand for extra comfort to support my CRPS and De Quervains Tenosynovitis in my wrist. Three adjustable straps and one for the thumb. Brought a s/m and dress size 10 for reference.

Does hold thumb and wrist very well. Wearing mine after trapeziectomy on right thumb.

Very well made and adjustable straps provide excellent hand support. My only issue is that the thumb section was a little too long for my unusually small hands. But metal splints in this brace supported my thumb, wrist and forearm perfectly nonetheless and alleviated a lot of pain. Hope I can find this item again when this one wears out

This is my 2nd purchase of this splint, 1st splint is still in great condition. The measurement / fit are really good. If you have sensitive.skin, contact latex allergies, heat rash, this splint is really good, the seams are well stitched. I use it as an overnight resting splint/ and a protective/reminder splint for certain tasks during the day. If you are buying this splint it's obvious you are in pain and possibly waiting for surgery. This is the most comfortable, restrictive, removable, washable split that I have had over the past 15 years.

I've bought a number of splints etc... over the years, and this one's up there with the best. It's got adjustable straps so you can get it to fit as snuggly as you like. It's breathable, so you don't get too hot or sweaty. The support this gives to your wrist and thumb is fantastic. They aren't going anywhere! I prefer the look of a black brace to that of the 'flesh' coloured. I just prefer their appearance. They look smarter, and this looks pretty smart. Performance wise, this is perfect. It's rigid but not uncomfortably so. I can still sleep wearing one of these if I need to. I would definitely get but another one of these if the need arises.

There is no shaping to the metal supports. I had to bend the wrist plate so it would hold my wrist in the correct position, and I also have to bend the thumb supports as they pinch my thumb joint. This is not ideal when I'm wearing the support for pain caused by De Quervain as bending the metal aggravates this.

This was actually my second choice. My doctor recommended a different brand, but it was missized -- smaller than it should have been. I then looked for something with the same characteristics, and came upon this one. I'm very happy that I did. Besides actually fitting (I have a very large hand, and the large size fits like a glove--pun intended), this is surprisingly comfortable. It is soft where it should be (most of it) and stiff where it should be (the 2 aluminum strips). It is very adjustable and seemingly well-made (it's still pretty new, so we'll see how it holds up). It also seems to actually work. It keeps my thumb pretty much immobilized, which is the point (osteoarthritis of the lower thumb joint). Also, unlike different types of braces I've tried, it doesn't seem to cause more harm than good. Finally, it's pretty inexpensive. For now, at least, I'm a happy camper.

This has helped me out so much! I have a newborn baby, picking him up or just holding it can really hurt my wrist. This gives me the support needed to prevent pain.

Sturdy brace for managing trigger finger. The metal pieces are not removable but it is comfortable anyhow. The one thing than hasn't been good is the velcro around the thumb. It is sized for a very large hand/thumb which means the velcro doesn't always stick unless pulled tight. I am a woman with smaller hands.
