Em Clean: Mould, odour, and antibacterial cleaner for leather

9 months ago I bought a car, the car I absolutely loved! It did however have one major downside! The previous owner was a smoker, pet owner and downright smelly and disgusting human being. I washed the car top to bottom to get rid of the smell. Carpet washed it, cleaned, scrubbed with just about every single car care product you can imagine. After months of hunting and replacing the carpets I traced the smell to the leather in the car. When it got hot past 20 degrees it absolutely STUNK so bad! It started to kind of upset me, as I'd tried AutoGlym car leather shampoo and balm and scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing! It would dry and when it got warm in the car, the smell came back! So this product was my last resort before either replacing the seats or selling my pride and joy.Well I have to say from the bottom of my heart to LTT THANK YOU!! for creating such a product because it seemed to have worked! Not just mask the smell, but remove it! It was almost overwhelming getting in my car and not being able to smell anything other than a slight sweet scent! I've worried about this for a long time and today I cannot tell you how utterly overjoyed I am to get rid of that smell from my car.Thank you! I cannot rate the product any higher!

I can't review this product highly enough. We recently bought a leather chesterfield sofa , once it arrived the strong smell of smoke (cigarette) was unbearable. We tried everything suggested from white wine vinegar to other cheaper cleaners .. we took a chance on this as a last ditch effort and wish I had bought from the start. The small bottle was big enough to clean the 3 seater over twice ... and the smell has vanished . It smells like new leather !

One of my house cats, God bless her, was suffering from cystitis. Painful enough in ladies (and men) but can be lethal to cats. She had a few, little, unfortunate accidents, and I didn't realise at first what was causing my sofa to smell outrageously. Once tracked down I knew the product I had to buy, as I had used it before to 'freshen up' an old leather suite. Brilliant stuff. It worked of course. Yes, it is a small bottle, yes it is expensive, but it WORKS. So, have a smelly leather suite or....buy Em Clean. Simples ! I nursed my cat back to health and Em Clean did the same for my sofa.

I ordered this more in hope than expectation but it really works. It has solved unpleasant odour seeping from leather furniture that had become damp. Three months of other attempted methods had failed. As a free tip to anyone else suffering with this problem I found a small gauze bag of granulated charcoal (you can get it from pet shops) also did wonders for the fabric covered areas below the cushions.When the product arrived I was concerned that there would not be enough but a little goes a long way. I was able to treat two armchairs and there is plenty left in the bottle - though I hope never to have this problem again!

This product saved a very expensive Nubuk coat. I'd stored the coat over summer in an unheated room and when I got it out next winter it stank of mildew and had specks of mould around the collar. I tried everything to get rid of the smell but nothing worked. A professional cleaner wanted £50 to try and clean it with no guarantee of success. This product worked immediately. The coat is still odour free two months after application. I used half the bottle in a single treatment, concentrating on the areas with the strongest smell of mildew.

I sprayed this on a patch of spilled unidentified dairy product that had been lurking on my leather car seats for nearly two weeks. The smell was gone the next day. Absolutely fantastic!

I used this product after finding mold growing on lots of leather items stored badly near cold walls throughout the winter. After wiping and cleaning the items with antibacterial several times, it took the em clean to prevent regrowth. So far, after several weeks it has remained effective.The product may be pricey, but it seems to be worth while and even the small bottle does go a long way. I used it on dozens of large items for multiple sprays and still have half a bottle remaining. Stopped me having to throw away prized possessions which were otherwise lost to mold.As the instructions rightly point out, certain surfaces/types of fabric/leather can be seriously effected by the solution and be slightly eroded, but this only happened on one item. Impressed and hope the results last. Was skeptical but would definitely buy again.

Has worked wonders on a second hand leather sofa that reeked of smoke . I can’t honestly say the smell has completely gone but it’s hardly noticeable now. Early days yet (only two weeks), but enough left for a second treatment as and when.
