The book is beautiful and a fairly simple template with exactly 52 weeks of space, however, I would have preferred a 6 day week so there was sufficient space to write the income or whether it was a cash or bank payment. Very few small businesses are open 7 days a week - even a 5 weekday space with just one column for ‘weekend’ income/expenditure would allow for more space for detail.Overall I think it is worth the price and is pretty robust and I suppose you could just use different coloured ink for cash payments than bank payments.

This is a good little book to monitor your expenses especially if you are a small business or if you just want to keep track of you incoming and outgoing expenses for your household. With how the world is going at the moment and my hubby due to change jobs, we are really now starting to watch the pennies especially after what happened last winter with the cost of fuel, heating and food prices. It is so easy to just spend, spend, spend in this day and age. If your savvy with your money then things can go a lot further. I like that you can keep a track weekly as each double page is a week to view and plenty of space to write the combined value. Obviously you cannot write what you individually bought say on a shopping trip but you can add the receipt total etc. This is a spiral bound book with a hard back and front cover which makes it much easier to write on.
