Reliable, Fantastic EV Charger
If you are reading this, yes I'm a real person and providing a solid, honest review. Great product thus far. I have used this charger for the last 2 years and it also came with wall adapter for regular electrical socket. It's also portable with level 1 and 2 charge range. Level 1 charges about 6 miles per hour while level 2 does around 18-22 miles per hour. The product support has also been fantastic from this company as I needed a replacement part for the charger and the company was happy to provide it.

Works Amazingly!
Still using till this day and bought this like a year ago. I would say it works better than the original one that came with that was destroyed within the week I had the car. I got this for my 2015 Nissan Leaf and itโs still going strong today and Iโve left the front end (not the box) in the weather for so long and no issue

Almost burned down my house
UPDATE: Seller reached out and apparently, the charger I have was the "old" unrevised model which was later revised and released as the current version. The new version of the charger (the later 2 pictures) is significantly different from the previous version. The charge handle itself feels much more premium compare to previous version, and it's now much easier to plug into my vehicle and pull without getting stuck. That's a huge improvement for us! And for the 240V to 120V adapter which is what caused the burn and overheating issue with my old charger, the new version just used an adapter without any extension cord involved, and I can totally see the reason behind it since the longer the cord is, especially with extension cords, on the adapter which conduct the electricity, it has more chance to generate heat which is what happened to my previous charger. And I've been tested this charger on daily basis to charge my vehicle at least 4-5 hours a day, and for 1 month now, the adapter portion gets a bit warm, but nothing compared to what happened to my previous charger. I think this revised version is much safer to use, and the quality improved quite a bit compared to the previous version Have this as my spare EV charger for our Prius PHEV, kind of like the idea with it being able to operate with both 240V and 120V. Never actually use it on 240V outlet since I already have my level 2 charger installed with it. Occasionally, I like to drain the battery all the way down and top it off using level 1 charger for optimize battery health. Have use this for a while now and never noticed any issue with it, however, the biggest issue with this budget charger is poor "charge port" design. With my TOYOYA OEM charger, it's easy to hook and unhook the charger from the vehicle, however, with this charger, it's hard to hook the charger up to the vehicle, and especially hard to unhook it from the vehicle, I think this due to the poor charge point design. I can live with it since it's a budget EV charger. However, few weeks ago, I started to smell very strong plastic smell in my garage. At first, I thought it's something from outside. But it started getting worse and worse every time I use this charger. So I decided to investigate into this and find out where's that smell came from. After few mins of searching different plugged in devices, I decided to check the circuit of this charger, and to my surprise, the cord was insanely HOT! And trace it up, the connection between 6-20 to 5-15 connection was the hottest point, and it actually burned my finger! After unplugging it from the outlet and let it cooled down, I unplugged the connection, and discovered from what show in those 2 pictures!!! I don't know what kind of material they used in this charger, but it's definitely something that's not able to let this charger operate normally!!! I even double checked with OEM charger to make sure this is not something with my garage outlet, and during the whole charging process, the entire circuit of the OEM charger nevers gets hot! If you're looking for level 1 charger, this is definitely not the one you should consider because it nearly started a fire in my garage if I didn't look into this in time!!!

Update after 10 months of use. For two months of use, it has been reliable.
Update after 10 months of use: Still working as it should! Very handy when I have to charge at work and away from home! 4 1/2 Stars! Pros: I have been using it for two months now, it does cut down my Voltโs charging time down to 4-6 hours, which is expected for a level 2 charger. Decent quality for the price. So far, it has been reliable, rain or shine! I love that it has a connector holster dock and hook to keep it organized when youโre not charging! Cons: I just wish it is at least 10 feet longer. Other than that, great quality product! Will update in about 6 months to see its longevity.

GREAT PRODUCT and CUSTOMER SUPPORT
First warning: it may help to talk to an electrician or someone who knows about the flow of electricity before use. WHY? I plugged this into a circuit strip designed for high amp use. The circuit strip was then plugged into the house line. BUT the GAUGE of wire on the circuit strip was NOT AS THICK as the guage on this product. Eventually the three prong end of this product melted. What's GREAT is that the manufacturer designed that end to be capable of being easily replaced if it melted. Still because the circuit strip (from a reputable company and allegedly capable of high amps matching this product) I thought something wasn't right. An electrical friend pointed out that by my plugging this into a circuit strip with a smaller GAUGE wire (even though the strip itself could accomodate high amps), I had created a FIRE HAZARD. By going from LARGE / HOUSE GAUGE WIRE to smaller gauge circuit strip wire to LARGER GAUGE WIRE ON THIS HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT, I had melted the ciruit strip (and the attached 3 prong plug end of this charger). SOLUTION: IF you use an extension cord or circuit strip with this product (which generally is NOT advised) at least make sure that it is HEAVY GAUGE ( eg - 10 gauge or wider). And learn how these gauge numbers work ( smaller is thicker!). Since using a 10 gauge extension cord (DIRECTLY into the house outlet NOT a circuit strip), I've not had any melting or even hot lines - BUT I check regularly. PLUS this company's support, though slow to respond, DID respond. And upon request they promptly sent me a new three prong end wire. ... This is as good as it gets folks. I'd happily buy from them again.

Unreliable
I returned the first one of these that I purchased because it kept faulting out when charging my 2015 Leaf. It would typically increase the battery charge by about 40-60% and then fault. Thinking that I got a bad unit, I returned the first one for a replacement and then second one exhibited the same behavior. The fault occurred anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours of charging. Based on the LED's on the front of the unit, the fault that happened each time was "Abnormal Current (SCP)". I wrote the company to find out what this meant and what might be causing the fault but never heard back from them on that issue. I tried calling the company in China but unfortunately was not able to get a live person on the phone. Based on my experience, if you have issues, it is unlikely that you will receive much more than an e-mail response. Both units that I had came with a nice carry bag, heavy-duty cables, a cord hanger, and they were well packaged. Although I didn't try it, I did like the 120V adapter option. The first unit had about 25 feet of output cable from the electronics box but for some reason the second one only had 20 feet. Not sure why there was a difference. It looks like several different companies are selling these same devices with a few different options, plugs, and available cable lengths. My guess is that some company is mass-producing the electronics boxes and then resellers just put them together with a few different options. Or, maybe it is all the same company selling them under different brand names such as Zencar, Duosida, Primecon, and OrionMotorTech. Ultimately, I ended up going with a Juicebox and thus far have not had any charging issues.

So far so good
Charges my 2017 Volt well. Feels like solid construction. I like that there's also a little cover for the charger to help keep it clean. I did notice that pollen gets stuck in the cover though... Still need to figure out how to clean it effectively.

Works well for Mercedes BL250
I bought this charger reluctantly to replace the one that came with the car, and that one was of the Smart/Delphi brand. The car is a 2014 Mercedes BL250 (full electric). The Mercedes dealer wanted close to $1200 for a new charger, and while I generally prefer Mercedes parts for Mercedes cars, I wanted to give this Amazon charger a try especially since the Mercedes one would have required longer to get. I've been using this charger now for a couple of weeks and it really does the job so far. The previous charger was turning itself off after a few minutes of charging and thus it was starting to fail; several times I went to the car in the morning only to find that it had barely charged at all during the night. The two issues I see with the Zencar charger are more related to the business/political aspect of the buying decision than the actual effectiveness of the charger (thus far is has done a very good job with no issues whatsoever). The first issue is that the literature that comes with the device is very obviously not professionally translated into English; this kind of sloppiness is both annoying and indicative of a lack of attention to detail, and probably indicative of cheapness (which makes me wonder, will this thing still work in a year if the parts in it are as cheap as the accompanying literature). Secondly, as with many things made in China, I have to wonder (but can't really know for sure) if this is just a reverse-engineered version of the much more expensive Mercedes supplied one. Said differently, if at some point I discover that either of these suspicions is correct, I will NEVER again buy this brand again.
