Bentgo Kids Water Bottle

My older toddler (and including my newly twin toddlers) adapted well from a sippy cup! Full disclosure that my twins could use a straw prior but the straws on all these kid cups vary in size and the amount of suction required.I dislike that there are little crevices at the top which are hard to clean and they don’t give you a pipe cleaner that I recall. And the strap is in the way when you drink so you have to push it out of the way - meaning if you are holding the strap while walking, the loop stays upright and doesn’t drop down when you go to use. And my kids don’t know how to figure that part out lol. I do notice it can leak if not fully tight and around the straw. I try to keep it upright esp in the backpack cause I’ve gotten my kids backpack back at the end of the day and it’s laying down at the bottom where it’s soaked the bottom of backpack.I liked the soft thick straw and the kids don’t seem to have any trouble drinking from it. The loop is very pliable and I hook it through my fanny pack when we walk making it easy to take with me. The print is nice and hasn’t worn off for the last 6 months of use.Does require two hands for kids as it gets heavy when filled with water.My kids overall prefer this bottle as they tend to gravitate to this vs some of there other water bottles if all sitting next to one another.

We really wanted to love this cup! My 6yo was so excited to use it at school, but it leaks very easily. The straw doesnt close in secure way and it feels like the lid will break easily. It's become a cup that sits at the back of the cabinet. It's a perfectly okay cup... but it isn't what we needed for use in a backpack or even for moving around the house with smaller siblings who will inevitably knock it over.

Fair warning, this water bottle is one you need to bite while using the straw. Bought it for my little one but she’s too little to figure that out. Will be cute when she’s older!

I purchased these cups to match the Bentgo lunchboxes, which I absolutely love. Unfortunately, the bottles have been very frustrating when it comes to cleaning.Once the inner pieces around the lid are removed for cleaning, it is extremely difficult if not impossible to get them properly reassembled again. This makes regular use and maintenance really inconvenient.I did reach out to the company and am waiting for a response, but based on my experience so far, I would not recommend purchasing these bottles. You may end up needing replacement parts or having to replace the entire bottle.As much as I wanted to love them, they simply did not hold up the way I expected. I will unfortunately be going with another brand moving forward.
