DEAD.
I'm very selfish and when I love something so much I want to keep it all for myself and not let anyone else have it because then they will realize how amazing it is and then it can't be all mine. That's how I feel about this book. I want to keep it's amazingness all to myself because it's so amazing. But it's so amazing that the people must know. When starting to read this book I didn't know much about it except for the little blerp I read from the front jacket of the cover. Let me tell you ignorance is bliss with this book. Just the little blerp I read had my soul singing and was enough for me to spend $20 on a book that I knew nothing about. Just from the few lines I read. Not knowing much about the plot line of the book made it so much more magical and fun to read and I challenge everyone to just read it! Don't get a full summary or anything, just read! You won't regret it. I'm suffering for severe depression now that I just finished the book so I'm going to go jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. Bye.

An unusual story told from the character's perspective, without saving any details as to sugarcoat it. Also makes for deep refle
It makes you think a lot about how to live your life, it tells the story from the perspective of the person without sugarcoating it to make it more appealing, and it describes every character in a way that you end up putting yourself in their place and it makes you understand people in general, better. It also has interesting philosophies to follow. The fifth star is not there because i still felt like the plot was missing something deeper or more engaging.

Wallach Does It Again
After completing Wallach's debut novel We All Looked Up within about 2 days (it was that good) I promptly went to the internet to see what else this talented writer had written. Finding that he only had one other book on the market I added it to my cart without a second thought. While not as emotionally heavy as WALU, Thanks for the Trouble was deeply contemplative and moving all the same. The characters were three dimensional, the story moves along quickly but also takes its time when it needs to. I loved this book, it was funny, clever, fascinating, and emotional. It had me questioning a lot of life's questions that I thought I had answered for myself long ago, but thanks to Wallach's excellent writing, I'm no longer so sure.I highly recommend this novel. If you even remotely like dramatic teen novels, you DON'T want to miss this one!

meh 😐
i wish it was a 😄 but its a meh. it was predictable, but entertaining nonetheless. i really enjoyed all the mini stories that the protagonist wrote and i enjoyed the new point of view of a mute person.
