I’ve been using the LG 27GR83Q-B as my main monitor, mostly for CS2 and other games, and I’m very happy with it. The combination of 1440p resolution and 240Hz makes everything look sharp while still feeling extremely smooth. The difference is especially noticeable in fast-paced games, where movement feels responsive and clear. The colors look good right out of the box, although I adjusted the brightness and a few settings to match my room. The 27-inch size is also a nice balance for 1440p, not too small, but it doesn’t take over the entire desk. G-SYNC compatibility has worked well for me, and I haven’t noticed any major screen tearing or input delay. The stand feels sturdy and has useful height, tilt, and rotation adjustments. The monitor also has plenty of connection options, which makes it convenient for using more than one device. Overall, this is an excellent monitor for someone who wants high refresh rate performance without giving up the sharper image of 1440p. It’s especially good for competitive gaming, but movies and single-player games still look great. I would recommend it!

I got one red stuck pixel (not a dead pixel) in the middle of the screen. I ordered a second one and it was worse than the first one I returned the second order since it had like 5-8 stuck pixels of different colors. Apart from that, really no issues. Colors are good, the stand is amazing, very responsive and feels high quality. However, I still don’t know why there’s such a big problem with the pixels. Both monitors I ordered had stuck pixels, just one had more than the other.

i think i'm one of the lucky ones... no dead pixels upon arrival! this monitor looks amazing, and it's BIG. take my review with a grain of salt, though; i'm coming from a 2019 hp omen laptop. i think anything is an improvement over that lol. the colors are SO CLEAN and saturated, there is very little "glow" when displaying mostly black screens. it's heavy and it all feels super quality. i think my biggest gripe is there is a cable clip on the back, that i didn't REALIZE was a cable clip, and now i can't get it off, therefore no cables are clipped. bizarre. also, this is a nitpick because you can SEE photos in other reviews, but the product description claims this is glossy finish. it is most definitely matte, LOL. obviously. because it's not OLED. anyway, still really really nice!!! edit: after 2 months i did get a dead pixel. it's literally completely undetectable while watching movies or playing games, but when i use art programs i can see it... anyway. it's really tiny, i don't think it's that big of a deal unless more start randomly popping up. i'll update again if more appear.

Bought this to replace a broken 27 inch monitor for my gamer 17 year old son. He says it is great quality and picture.

DO NOT buy LG products! The product support is terrible. We bought this monitor from Amazon on October 31. The Amazon return window was December 31. One month after that the monitor start shutting off all the time. I went through LG tech-support to fix the problem they told me I needed to send it back to them to have it repaired. Two months later we received it back and it’s still had the same problem. This is my son’s monitor and he is homeschooled. LG is now saying I have to send it back to them again to get confirmation that it is unrepairable to be able to get a refund. So this could be another two months. I would not recommend buying any LG products! I am going to have to spend another 380 to buy him a different brand of monitor so that he can finish this year’s school. I wish Amazon’s return/refund policy was longer than two months. I feel like they would’ve handled this a lot easier. We will have to wait another 2 months to see if they issue the return or send back another defective product! Otherwise the monitor was great and he really liked it!

It was well packaged and arrived with no damage. Assembly was simple with no tools required. I set it up and configured a solid orange background and there were no dead pixels. It took a while to configure the text and icons to the right size since this is has more pixels than my 1040 monitor. I was blown away with the color vibrance cause this monitor is HDR. I also configured this monitor to sync (VRR) with the refresh rate with my Nvidia video card and the games I play were better than my old monitor. Bottom line---I'm happy with this purchase. I'm sure there are better monitors out there but this one fits my needs!!!
